I still keep wondering to this day why Kasumi and Tina hardly ever had interaction dialogue aside from that cheesy movie we got.

Welcome by the way, but this is probably because Kasumi hasn't entered a DOA tournament since winning the first one. That would limit the amount of interaction she'd have with Tina.

Apparently in some mook or something it was said that at the end of DOA1, Tina had become friends/friendly with Kasumi and Kasumi gave her tournament winnings to Tina, and when I was playing DOA Dimensions I was hoping that would have been shown a bit, at least. But more accurately, apparently Tina forfeited the last match in the finals and Kasumi won the tournament but refused the prize money so it went to Tina instead, they probably didn't have to interact at all. But either way, now that I think about it, that would be so odd if true since Kasumi's homeless vagabond ass probably needed those winnings badly for her hotel life and Tina either already had other sources of income (at least pro wrestling gigs at that time) or her public exposure in DOA1 made her famous which is all she really wanted anyways (hence the forfeit, as she probably felt at that point that she got everything she joined for).
