ya, hopefully he is all grown up in NG4
This is how I would make the opening for NG4
Ryu and Momiji are just chilling and watching Sanji train they look at each other and smile, then the scene switches over to the black spider clan attacking the Mugen tenshin clan where Hayate and Kasumi are. Momiji asks Ryu if he senses what she senses and he just nodes, the scenes switches back to the mugen tenshin clan being attacked and first Momiji appears and chops up some ninjas and right before kasumi is about to get the finale blow Ryu shows up and saves her ass

Wish I could get as excited as you guys. My faith in ninja dog making a good NG game is pretty damn low at this point.
If nothing else, get rid of QTE. That mechanic needs to be thrown to the River Styx and never be spoken again. Jesus, what a cancerous mass of assgravy that mechanic is....

Ironically, the only Ninja Gaiden game to contain a "Ninja Dog" setting was the best one in the franchise.

I was contemplating just putting Hayashi, but I'm pretty damn bitter against him, my head is practically a lemon after NG 3. I hope he finds a way to express himself in the next NG game, and not mess up again and try to bandaid the game with subpar content ripped from the previous Itagaki games.

Hayashi knows he made some major missteps with NG3. He has said so publicly, and has repeatedly assured fans that he is listening to their feedback and trying his best. RE was indeed a step in the right direction after NG3 (despite my never-ending rage regarding RE in general). I'm sure NG4 won't be the same slap in the face NG3 was. TN and Hayashi have learned their lesson. However, will it be on par with the first two? Remains to be seen. I'm skeptical, but I'm willing to give Hayashi another shot because I do think he's trying.

I know its beating a dead horse but Bring back Tomonobu Itagaki. I know he left on bad terms but If they really learned their lesson they know Ninja gaiden bagan to fail right when he left. Lets face it NGS2 was still Tomonobu Itagaki just watered down though. If they are smart they will had least get some advise from him.

Hope to god that's confirmation Hayate will be playable...every damn dog needs his day(Kasumi got hers, Hayate NEEDS this)
