I love using the Kitestsu and I'm pissed out of the 3 4 fucking releases for the game we couldn't get a fucking new game+ so I could enjoy it fully.you have it in your hands for one level then it just becomes obselete once you get the TDS
If there was a New Game+, you would start up the game again with the True Dragon Sword as well.
By your perspective, it would still be obsolete.

It's actually not that Dabilahro was heavier. They were just making a point that Ryu has become stronger.

possibly though the Dabilahro appears a bit bigger imo.we will never know since it doesn't say specifically, but still it just doesn't have that same feeling the Enma's Fang just feels like an over sized sword rather than a Great Sword.

The tonfas in NG2 were each some ridiculous weight like 100 lbs each. Ryu would not have been able to use them very effectively given his weapon control in 1. He got stronger in 2. I recall even Itagaki mentioning that at one point.

It says they're to heavy to use by most anyone but him,but most of his weapons are considered to be like that.i think only the Dabilharo is the only one that specifically states 100lbs.

At this point I doubt Ryu will get it back though maybe some other great sword will show up

If I'm not mistaken, Ryu couldn't izuna drop with any heavy sword besides the unlabored flawlessness in NG1 right?

That could be another point to push towards him being stronger in NG2, considering not only can he Izuna but he can swing up to 2 times in the air before doing an izuna... just an assumption though.

Enma's could Izuna.
In NG1, which was why I was saying that they may be implying that he got stronger between 1 and 2.

I read it on a wiki as well, but it's a wiki so... that's why I continue to say that they [may] have implied it, but there's no solid comment on it from TN that proves it as far as I know.

holy shit never really realized how powerful the TDS really was.i was just messing around on missions in Sigma and slaughtered like 100 enemies without even trying.the wall jump attack was decapitating anyone even around me,it was fucking awesome.

True Dragon Sword is the pinnacle of power in an action game to me. It has yet to be topped. When I first received it I actually FELT the increased power of the weapon. Even Unlabored Flawlessness with glowing red runes didn't make me feel as powerful, though that may simply be that UF was actually pretty hilariously broken. Also, the TDS doesn't glow in 3/RE and that bothered me immensely haha.

In 4, the TDS must return and it must feel epic again. And it must fucking glow, damnit.

I couldn't believe my eyes in NG3 when I finally saw the True Dragon Sword, and it didn't even f'n glow.

So much disappointment filled that brief moment.

So Muramasa talks about how the Dragon Sword can only be wielded by those of the Dragon lineage. What exactly happens when some random guy tries to pick it up? Is it like untouchable or something?
