I don't want Gen Fu to become the next "Leon" in DOA6. It's like.. they're giving up on him.

Ok lets be honest here, TN has gotting really lazy on the costumes and did a half ass job once again.
When there's more unique costumes than DOA4 or DOAD, how is that lazy? They added some extra color swaps on top of that.

I didn't play DOA5 yet so I can't judge about it but what I've been reading & watching a little bit of the videos, it seems like the costumes are more of the same just different colors. I'll have to see for myself and yeah I agree with you that DOA5 does have better/unique costumes than DOA4 & DOAD.

Yeah there's more swaps, but there's also more or less(depens on character) unique costumes.
Based on watching this video:
Tina - 7 (3 and 5 are swaps, 4 and 6 are swaps)
Christie - 6 (4 and 5 are swaps)
Kokoro - 6 (1 and 6 are swaps)
Lisa -7 (1 and 4 are swaps, 3 and 5 are variations)

From what I've seen so far I think the original outfits are good enough. I think they did a good job with them unlike doa4 when there wasn't as many "original" outfits, and most of them were ugly anyways. Also, I don't see why they would "have" to make dlc "free" it's not like costume and such is the most important aspect of the game. If they're going to go the unnecessary measures of making costume dlc for fan service it'll most likely cost those who are begging for it.

Ryu totally should've gotten the tuxedo from that Dimensions cutscene. I would've worn that costume 24/7.

More likely DLC.
Evening/cocktail dresses for the girls, tuxedos/shirts for the dudes.
Should we ask TN on Twitter to put certain costumes, will they listen to our requests ? (Bayman's beret for example)
