Anyone else realize her super long win pose is actually "EVERYTHING! IS MY! DELUSION!"?

After all the interest put by Team NINJA on this sentence (maybe after the remind of the fans requesting for Tengu), I was certain that if the character was planned to be again part of the roster TN would have used its famous 'mantra' as opening/victory pose.

Can't wait to splat people like bugs with her wall throw. Also I can't wait to swoop down on someone outbound. Nyotengu is looking more and more fun each passing play test.

I'm still hoping she has a Bankotsubo costume skin... or something. I donno.
The next set of Halloween costumes would pretty much be the perfect opportunity for her to dress up in Tengu's garb. Probably not gonna happen though.

Also, didn't his wall throw kind of suck from DOA4 onwards? I'm not sure I would get my hopes up for that move.

That would be an attempt to make the actual Bankotsubo a halloween costume. I hope it isn't that FB voting system again. They need to make a legitimate voting on getting costumes from fans. FB and Twitter is the wrong way to do it.

This time the vote will be done through the official sites, maybe in a way similar to the pool for the pop idols outfit in Japan during the pre-release of DoA5U.

An SPD? A Psycho Crusher? A super-sunset-powerbomb? A super-reverse-powerbomb? An actually useful 4H+K? A sexually-suggestive pin-em-down air throw? More air throws? Ceiling throws? MAI WAIFU WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

I really hope 1PPP causes hard knockdown in juggles. Would make it so useful in tag situations where hard knockdown can come in handy for ground pickups and force-techs. That would make for the best tag combos.

P+K wouldn't reach, but would against a wall.

Anyways, complaining about disadvantage of P+K is kind of 'eh'. Take it from an experienced Bass player, no one punishes a guarded P+K.

Naaah, dude, in 5U it def will after pickup. In 5 Vanilla, yeah, he'd be too far away.

But you got a really good point about the P+K in general going totally unpunished. Funny thing is the only person who does punish me for it is a Tekken player. Obvious things like 6KP and 6PK do go unpunished too sometimes, but people actually try punishing them.

So, chances are that the only person who is gonna be punishing people for abusing Tengu's P+K is gonna be me, because I take throw punish seriously.

What I meant was that I thought 52 damage was pretty underwhelming for a wall throw, but after taking a closer look at the DOA4 frame data it just seems like everyone's wall-throws were kind of weak (except Ein for some reason).
The damage was nerfed because it became a OH in 4. OH's always took less damage than normal holds. You gotta remember Eins wall throw is his Hokage which never been a OH.
