Community One Month Until TFC!

Next month will be one of the biggest events in Dead or Alive tournament history: The Fall Classic '14. Not only will Last Round be playable at this tournament, but $8,000 will be up for grabs. This tournament also marks the first DOA tournament in the states to have European and Japanese players as well.

Only 35 people have decided to pre-register so far, and we promote getting registered now to help tournament officials plan accordingly. At Summer Jam 8 we had well over 100 people. Because of the perks, and the payout we should definitely have the same kind of attendance at TFC.

If you haven't signed up yet, take a look at the registration page today and continue to support DOA as the great competitive fighter that it is.

Also a question, what are the spectator fees? Like ok, these two scenarios.

I go by myself as a spectator, am I paying the 40$ registration even though I'm not competing?

I go to compete and bring 2 people who are there to watch, am I paying registration x3 plus the 10 dollars for each game?

Spectator price has not been released according to the website, if there will even be a spectator fee/discount.

It's $40 to register for the event for each person.

Each registered person has to pay for their entry for whatever games they want to enter, which is typically $10 but varies per game.

So for just yourself as a spectator, it would be $40;
If you want to enter the DOA5U singles event, it would be an additional $10 (Total: $50);
If you bring 2 people who are there for spectating, it would be $40 each (Total: $130 if you compete, $120 if you don't);

Now, the $40 each is only because I don't see a separate listing for Spectator fees, so I presume entry into the event is $40 regardless of if you're only spectating or competing.

That kind of sucks, that means if I came with my family that's an extra 80 bucks just for them to watch? Should definitely be a spectator discount.

Hmm, $40 spectator fee, not bad, I'm in Houston and is currently trying to figure out an overall cost of everything so I can work towards that in the next couple weeks...
