Thanks to Immi new Ink Shuffle tool, I have the motivation to get back to DOA 5 modding,starting by messing with some of Harry Palmer tool

Gotta give some Christie's attire to Sarah,the result wasn't that bad

The new hair slots work wonder too,Try out some new hairstyle for the Bryants

If anyone is interested in this pack,I'll release it soon

In the future,I hope I'll have to study more about Blender so I can mesh-modding for DOA 5 one day

oh btw, I like your Sarah's pink bikini and the last one which you get rid of the tail/wings from christie's halloween costume. If possible please a no-wing/no-tail version for Christie also.

For who asking for the modding method,here' s the methods i 've experienced :

-Using TMC-OBJ converter tool or TMC-MQO converter,we can keep the original normal vector data (that's while,but we can't directly delete the mesh in 3deditor
-If you want to directly deleting and adding mesh ,rig bone ... in blender, u can use doutoku 's "for blender tmcmesh importer - exporter" plugin
With this method , the normal vector data will be changed,may causes a bit neck seams (and maybe some smoothing problem) you can partially solve it by using harry's Neck Connecting Tutorial ,and using "recals vertex normal" function (of doutoku's "for blender keep vertex normal" plugin)
I also note that each time you export tmcmesh in blender,the number of vertices in exported tmcmesh increased

i've got something wrong in my config because the tool crashes if only do a simple export TMC -> OBJ
and then i import it into blender
i then do nothing else but export the whole mesh as obj .

if i import OBJ-> TMC the tool crashes.

could you tell me if these parameters are correct?

It's to bad there are no detailed tutorial on how import xps model until doa5lr (I mean a detailed steps by steps) this is something I try to find since a moment.
There are Blender tutorial but this part between xps to blender to tmc is missing, as transfering weight I think not everyone know how do that.

EDIT : @mralex About texture, did you swap the texture where are your mesh with Texture Tool ? (normal, diffuse, reflect) if yes, try to add your mesh in another wgt_slot.


In Blender you could import from xnalara using this script

Copy the folder in C:\Users\"name of machine"\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.75\scripts\addons and activate in Blender

Then, you need transfer weights from a doa mesh and export like tmcmesh.

your config is correct (there is settings image in the help folder)
did you try reinject the unedited OBJ to TMC (the OBJ which is not import to blender) ?
(export to OBJ by harry tool, then reinject that OBJ to TMC) ,
If it's not crashed ,then maybe the problem is blender ,you can try blender 2.75A ,it works with me

I'm interested in how did you successed with the TMCOBJ converter tool.
Oh,frankly,I edit and saved the obj file with mistfit3d instead

someone pointed out to me that the wing version of my pvc boot mod had broken wings. if your one of the wing people, redownload the mod, they are now fixed

i replaced the mask with glasses. to have the hair act normally, use the --C file provided and assign hair in this order.

dlc tool -1,1,2,2,5,6,4.
lnk_reshuffle - 5,5,1,1,6,4,2

edit - included erection nose mask for those who don't like glasses

also,

fixed that bug with lisa's jewel bikini with the string being invisible in the select screen, and also applied the fix to holden mclures helena version

What can be done with the xnalara tool? I have models from other games and I can view them with xnalara but I dont know what I can do with them. can't I just add DOA models in there and switch the costumes with the other games models? :D

fixed another costume bug. TN forgot to make the costume hair toggle with her hoodie. this was most noticeable when giving the black senran hair to that costume.
