DOA5LR "Relax Ayane-chan!" - Ayane Casual Discussion

Cauz Ayane is some kind of an example to him cauz he liked her attitude (according to the DOAD canon). Also, she is a girl, a stunning beauty and she is about the same age as him. Why would you NOT love her, lol.
Also, Ayane reacts in a very "shy" way when she talks to him and she always answers him in a more nice way (and as we know she is only nice to Ryu and Hayate), rather than being a hardcore troll or "mean"... which is an uncommon behaviour to strangers she barely knows.
But maybe Ayane is just trollin' him, lol. But the question remains: why just him and why in such a way? It seems that Ayane is also interested in Eliot a little bit and she is showing it in her own way. And why not, I ask. He is a pretty boy, a strong fighter, and he goes his own way. Kinda like Ayane, even though she actually is part of a family and her clan and not really a lonewolf.
Funny is, maybe Team Ninja is just doing it for the lolz because the Dead or Alive series had several chances for a classic love relationship between two characters by now:
Ryu and Kasumi
Hayate and Hitomi
Ayane and Eliot
but they never expanded these relationships (c'mon...no kissing scene?) for some reason. Maybe to not "hurt" the hardcore fans of the female characters? Who knows.

Through the forum and the web I meet various fans of Doa that would like to see Eliot and Kokoro like a couple, the artist of it is very simple one of them. Very likely the idea comes from the fact that they have almost the same age (Kokoro is 1 year older actually), they were introduced in the same game and have an unique tag throw (I think that it's started by Kokoro). But yes, canonically talking, there is nothing between them considering that the two never meet themselves. It's simple an idea of the fans (you find always people that support pairings impossible in the works, Eliot X Kokoro is one of them).
About Ayane wearing the green, no idea! XD Maybe a sort of military camouflage?

TN honestly have some weird ideas for Aya's romantic life, first it was heavily implied she loved Hayate her own half-brother and now Hayashi ships her with Eliot? lol

In the discussion about the new DoA5U addition, the user @Seppu posted this collage of screenshots (taken from these 3 videos depicting a fan mod of DoA5 with the textures of the cloaked girl switched with Kasumi's ones - so in no way leaked videos of the new character from DoA5UA):
It's possible that the new character will end to be not a clone of Kasumi, rather one of Ayane (or a being with a mixed DNA between the two sisters)?

Folks I need your help with something. I'm sort of...having...an outfit crisis, LOL!
I've been cycling between C3 (Purple dress), C4 (Hoodie with the head piece), C8 (Infiltrator) and C9 (Chainmail) often. I can't decide which "one" I should just use as my default. D:
Which outfit do you folks think should be the main outfit I choose for Ayane? (Cannot be DLC because tournaments do not always have DLC available)

I'd say Infiltrator or her NG1 costume the two NG ones are her best on disc ones IMO next to C2, C4 and C5(again my opinion).
That's a good point, what is everyone's favourite Ayane costume in 5U? I'm torn between her NG1 and her DoA2 throwback(famitsu "Intimate" costume) I always use those two although close faves are also her C2 and the hoodie.

Personally, I find C3, C8 and C9 to be her best outfits in-game. But I definitely want to use "just one" outfit above all else. Hmm...

I understand what you mean, everyone usually has that ONE costume that they must always use.
Sometimes it's just a matter of finding it, I have main costumes for both my mains Ein and Hayabusa but I can't seem to choose any for my casual characters like Ayane and Hitomi.
Ayane's C2 has taken me in ever since I first played 2U but her C9 took me in when I played NG1, C4 was my fave for a while in vanilla 5 too haha and I just like C5 because I like the white version alot more than the signature purple.
EDIT: I just realised this entire time I was using C6 instead of C5 I meant the white butterfly dress not the hoodieless dress w/ bobble hat.

My favorite outfits for Ayane for DOA5U are C2, C3, & C9. Her two hat outfits are complete garbage and should be thrown in the trash LOL. I'd say C3 since the dress is mighty fine and hella cute in my opinion.

C3 cauz that's the way Ayane was original created and it looks incredible awesome (please, no glasses...they look stupid especially on that outfit, lol). It combines all of her signatures when it comes to dressing styles and nothing is better than representing your character on a tournament in its true original form. Our prodigy deserves only the best
Btw, it's my favourite outfit and I was highly disappointet when I found out that TN hasn't included it in DOA4. It's her signature outfit. Why wasn't it in DOA4. It's like taking away Kasumis blue C1 and saying "everything is there"....dafuck?
Infiltrator looks great too but IMO it's more Ninja Gaiden'ish than DOA'ish. And it's general design and patterns are too army like for my taste. Ayane and the army(?) ^^''

Yeah, I've been thinking I'll stick to C3 as well for the same reasons, because it is my all-time favorite "DOA" outfit she has (but if she had the Phantom Butterfly outfit, well then this would not be a problem for me lol). C4 (Hoodie) is nice as well because I'm pretty big on hoodies (fasion-wise). Infiltrator and Chainmail are neat for having her Ninja gaiden outfits for sure. But again, the Phantom Butterfly is my definite favorite from Ninja gaiden.
As for the glasses, I always use them because I like women in glasses, it is very attractive to me, nice and stylish as well. And since my main character has the option to wear them, I'm going to use that option. Plus the glasses completely match with C3 as well. It's a personal preference, really (well actually, the outfits are too, but I just want that "one" outfit to standout more for me over other outfits).
But, after hearing a few opinions and giving it some thought--I think I'll be making Costume #3 with glasses my signature outfit.
