I make 4P look broken. I took a game off of iHajin's Day One Phase Four by liberally applying that move to infected areas.

I never finish PPKKK though.

Also, Charging 1P+K~P doesn't seem to work. I've followed both Force's and iHajin's advice, I figure there's gotta be SOMETHING that I can do, because I'm sure it's not as hard as 1 frame links, and I've done those much more often than I've done this, because I've done this exactly 0 times.

Ayane's 4P is really dumb online, hence why so many people complain about it. Enjoy your victory over iHajin's Phase-4 lol.

The only other Ayane player I know that plays Ayane on a fightstick is Gill Hustle. Just input 1P+KP normally and you should get the -8 normal version. After just doing that, try holding down 1P+K slightly longer ('bout half a second) before inputting the P. If you simply cancel into BT stance, 1P+K was held down too long before inputting the P. If P is inputted too early or 1P+K released too early, you'll just get 1P+KP. I actually don't do the move that often and tend to only use it after P+KP(1).

It's alright bro. I tried out Phase-4 at casuals yesterday and I personally think she's a rubbish character outside of juggles. Kasumi seems much better IMHO, however I'm interested to see what tech people come up for her in the future.

Not what I meant, it's just that she has no buttons, really. You are in serious trouble once you get past PP on block with Phase 4. I've never felt so limited with a character before.

Exactly! Phase-4 is limited as shit at neutral on top of being ridiculously unsafe (and I play Ayane and Kasumi so I'm accustomed to unsafe characters lol). I was using Phase-4 yesterday and had to rely on the same, like, 3 moves, along with grabs the whole time until I could show off a launch combo. She should be able to teleport even if something like 66K gets blocked. Love her air grab though <3.

Once you're used to Ayane or Kasumi, Phase-4 feels like an incomplete project.

Anyways, on the topic of 1P+K~P
I've done everything you said, I've messed with different timings, nothing works, there's really no reason for a move like this to be that difficult to pull off. They decided to make the 11 roll easier by just mapping it to a button, so maybe they should just change this input to 1P+K~P+K, because for the life of me I can't do this move.

Is there a way you can make a video showing this in action? With the little command inputs and such?

What result are you getting and how are you inputting the move? This is one way how I'm performing it. Hold down 1P+K for just under half a second (1/3 of a second should work), then release and press P. If you get the correct move, Ayane should make a different sound such as a "deeper" grunt. But yeah, it is a bit of a dumb input for the move and should allow you to entirely hold down 1P+K if you press P before she cancels into BT. Everytime I hold down 1P+K entirely, the move doesn't come out. Have you tried doing the move off of P+KP(1)? For that you can "double tap" P+K, hold down 1 then press P.

Wait wait, hold up. There's no charge effect? It looks EXACTLY the same? Just has different properties? Well shit if that's the case, then I've probably done it several times. I figured it would have the charge effects, like the power blows do.

LOL!!! Pretty much =P. She just spins for a l'il longer. No moves really have a "charge effect" like the Powerblows.

Well shit, guess I'll mess around with it more, since it's nice to have frame advantage. Also, I found a use for BT8K, I was thinking it was way worse than it really is, but it's a semi-decent low crush that's only -5 on block. Granted it's not gonna be good to use a whole lot, but for someone like me who FUCKING HATES MOTHERFUCKERS MASHING 2P SON OF A BITCH it's gonna help me a little bit.

Frame advantage is nice, but Ayane doesn't really need it that much. Just poke with P's & 2P's and the opponent will eventually have to push a button. If they don't? Just grab them. BT PP6KK4 & 66KK4 are nice for a +1 on block if you space them right. Unlike VF, if people mash 2P, just low hold their asses or 2P back. In VF you have to pretty much block it (or low crush it) when in really close range since 2P's can give about +5 on NH hit.

The BT8K is still a solid idea. Works the same way for 9K, especially against low sweeps and the obvious low wake up kicks.

The point though is that it crushes lows, and it's something when you can't go back stance in time for BT8K. BT8K is also -4, by the way.

BT8K is -5, I tested it earlier, unless it hits with the last active frames I suppose, a lot of moves do that, but point blank it's -5.

But yeah, totally gonna Low crush the shit out of 2P whenever I notice people disrespecting. Seriously man after last night I was about to turn into a super-villain lol

I dropped Phase 4, her neutral is gawd awful. The teleport stuff is the least of my worries because it's actually pretty easy. Not having buttons makes me cry on the inside. When my 6P free cancels are getting thrown over and over again, something is wrong.
