If it was made by Capcom, I don't think the change would have happened this late. And there's no way that this is Sony's doing considering they've backed worse games.

And again, Censorship pisses a huge chunk of people off, I think that's pretty understandable regardless.

I... don't understand. It's a beta, anything can change.

This late? The game isn't even out yet. Anything that changes now can simply be chalked up to the fact that games change during development, and it will continue to change until the game goes gold shortly before launch.

I can see where the argument is coming from, but for me, if it's not the final, complete version of the game that was edited, I don't even consider it true censorship. As it stands, this isn't even comparable to, say, the Fatal Frame situation, where an unaltered version of the game actually exists and is widely available in another country.

Now, if the game had launched with the butt/crotch shots intact, and then got altered, I would have more of a problem. They wouldn't have an excuse at that point, but until that point are the developers not free to make changes to their still-in-development game in any way they see fit?

Badly worded, but I mean they kept it around for this long so it really makes no sense otherwise to just remove it, even if it's for the reasons you claim.

I don't really think those should not be comparable because SFV is a Beta in progress. My point is that it's still editing(or self-censorship) for the sake of it that's honestly pointless(Because there has been worse T-Rated games).
That's literally all I can say.

An arcade release and Street Fighter are something that has went hand in hand for quite some time.

Unfortunately, the financial hits the arcade industry has taken through the years isn't something businesses have been able to shake off — even in Japan.

Capcom's Yoshinori Ono was recently asked why Tekken 7 is receiving an arcade release, and why it isn't happening for Street Fighter 5.

"The Japanese arcade isn't what it used to be," explained Ono.

"I think there's a big difference between Capcom, Street Fighter and me and Namco, Tekken and Mr. Harada," he stated.

Ono said that the companies are finding themselves in contrasting environments, and while they both run arcades in Japan, Bandai Namco is having success with more traditional video games — while Capcom is gravitating towards crane games.

"We're in different situations - both companies run arcades in Japan, but the Capcom ones are going towards crane catchers and one-off cabinets. There's not much space for the typical arcade cabinet. That's the situation," he said.

"The Namco arcades, they're still very much on the video game side, and Mr. Harada's giving it a good run with Tekken in the arcades, and more power to him for that, but we're not in a comparable situation," concluded Ono.

The problem is how would one implement SFV's content delivery model with an arcade release.

Lol, it's an optical illusion. ;) White combined with tanned skin lets the skin appear even darker and the white whiter. I don't think they changed her skin at all.

A Fact is that they changed Chun Li ´s Face and i really have to say its so much Ugly . Her Winning Pose and Entry Pose and everything about her was great ..............and now thee changed the Face and she looks real Ugly to me :/

In Fact i really do not like all the Changes they did when it comes to certain Points . Like Cammys face was too European (well she is ...)

A little dissapointed about that Stuff .
