I wonder if they'll release the characters in the same order as the silhouettes the released earlier. Which would mean Alex, Guile, Balrog, Ibuki, Juri, and then Urien.
Sounds sensible to me for a few reasons:
Alex was ranking very high in the fan favorite charts but wasn't present in STIV, so it makes sense not dragging it out any longer and just giving him to fans first. We also long knew he was present in the game in the background of one of the stages, so the surprise is long gone.
Guile and Balrog were just recently confirmed and they seem to be integral to the story that will be playable around June when the real story mode of the game releases. It makes sense to release them not earlier or later.
By then we have lotsa guys in the roster and a little variation with two consecutive released females would be welcome.
Last but not least there's Urien, also a fan favorite long not seen in the series. It makes sense that he's sort of the culmination of the DLC characters this year. Everyone will be really hyped for him. He also seems to be the ultimate boss of the game, so it makes sense to release him last, right?

The Street Fighter 4 song "Indestructible" however... Yeah, it's cheesy but it's incredibly catchy:
Once again, everything about Street Fighter 5 apart from the core gameplay seems rushed, on a tight budget and at best mediocre. :/

yeah.
I don't think it will be a bad game either, it will be very likey a good one...but I'm more and more convinced I won't be satisfied with it... :/ But as I said before, I'll leave my final verdict for when I've actually tried out the game.

The Streetfighter V presentation stream was kinda weird... XD Most of it was actually cosplayers dressing as Chun Li and Zangief.
That Zangief won, yay!
We got also a look at an Alex concept art:
Though the in-game model might look different than this. The boots and pants we already saw seem to be different at least.

Timeline for this year:
Some already got the game and it looks as if so much is still missing.The fill-in "story mode" is by the way just 6-8 minutes long per character and features just two battle encounters with other characters. The awful art of that mode is already starting to turn into internet memes:

I'm right now pondering if I should cancel my preorder first thing tomorrow or not... :/ I would just lose 5€.
Apparently the PS4 version of the game also looks kinda bad, with heavy shadow dithering on the characters that's for comparison only on the lowest setting on PC. I have never seen such an ugly effect in any game before:
