Belle was a travesty for competition, but so was the entire female division of that show. You think it wasn't criticized? Belle didn't exactly get an applause when she was drafted the second time, but I guess you may have missed that since you were sort of banned from the event. The main difference between Belle and Mystik was that Mystik actually knew how to block. The main difference between Belle and Master is that Belle isn't here right now still trying to find new ways to fuck over the community.

Also, yes. It's different when it is Master. It is ALWAYS different when it is Master. Not because we're spiteful, but because Master literally is just treated differently than everyone as far as connections are concerned. I mean really, you've tried to argue this down so hard and you yourself know he did shit and he's got shit planned in the future. Why try and fight the details?

Well he's not the "CHAMPION" now but, I am pretty sure he carrying that label. I'd honestly be surprised if he's not. I mean to carry that label don't you have to be current? That's how things usually work in any competition. Are video games different?

Apparently it's acceptable here and here alone because politics make it so, and politics are acceptable here because Relius says they are.

I don't see Master calling himself the champion anymore.

How about this, lets go around the table and find out what we all learned today.

I'll start: Grap3fruitman is a co-signer, Rikuto is an elitist, most everyone hates Master even the ones who are not close enough to the situation to have the amount of heat their packing in their hearts and Mr Wah is a great moderator for letting this go on for as long as it did.

Also, I think a stick of ram just went down because my upload/browser speed has dropped off significantly.

Rikuto, what did you learn.

I don't hate Manny but, I will not ignore complaints that people can back up. I spoke to him before, several times and, everything is just a big cluster fuck. I hope the this shit doesn't carry over in DOA5. Just because you don't see it does not mean it's not happening. So I will rephrase what I originally said, "He may be still carrying the title champion of DOA."

I learned that if you are on #teammaster you are winning regardless of anything, period.

Just the other day Master claimed he had the most accomplishments of any DOA player on his status update here, and he is still running the "DOA CHAMPIONS" facebook page, so that pretty much blows your theory clear out of the water.

Grap3 lacks experience but makes up for it in knowledge, Rikuto is elitist (deal with it, I guess), everyone does hate Master and nobody wants to get fucked over by him, including the new players. Mr. Wah is allowing this to continue because it is relevant to current events and not just random trolling on someones part.

I don't believe he ever said Master couldn't come in here and defend himself. Banning people out of a good fight so they can't defend themselves is something Master does, though.

Dam this is awesome, I never thought my thread would get this many posts, I can't wait until it hits the 10 page mark. I feel so accomplished ^_^ It's just like Game Over said at the bottom of page 1, "this quickly turned into a *popcorn* thread", lol.

I'm not the champion because of CGS. I NEVER counted CGS for anything like that, so that can be disregarded.

I'm the champion for what I did outside of CGS. Other than other tournaments I won and placed in, I won World Cyber Games, a world event. Something no other American DOA player could do. (Hence the term back in the day, "Failed America") The World Championship is my title that I have rightfully earned. Even a few years later, the last big major DOA tournament where EVERY top DOA player was at, before the game died, was WCG Fighter Club in New York. I won that tournament too with ease. NinjaCW getting 2nd, Offbeat Ninja 3rd, PL 4th, and Rabies and Master tied 5th. (Rabies beat Master in that tournament.)

The only events Master has beaten me in were CGS, (where the monitors were extra laggy and the rules were screwed up) and Evo 2k6. Evo was my very first gaming tournament ever and even then, he lucked out and got a level that was heavily in his characters favor when it came down to the very last match. After that though, he lost to me in the next DOA Major Dead of Winter, WCG Nationals where I beat him in 1.)Pool Play, 2.)The Tie Breaker Round, 3.) and in the Double Elim round NINE rounds straight. Only people that went back and forth with me in tournament play were PL and Offbeat.

To be clear, the best DOA players were: Myself, PL, Offbeat Ninja, and NinjaCW. These were the best DOA players. Period.

I'm not even talking trash, this is just fact.

My favorite part was where Mamba came in saying Important Stuff™, and then there was five minutes where I didn't have to listen to Relius go on about how we're all horrible people for not wanting to be fucked over all the time.

Roundtable, you say? OK, I wanna share!

1) I learned that it's better to have acceptance and recognition find you than to look for it, and if you become too obsessed looking for both, you'll hurt others in the process, even if you believe your intentions are good.

2) I learned that moving forward is the best way to go for me, but at the same time, not forget the mistakes of the past and become more vigilant about the future.

3) I learned to never mess with D Glock... ever. And the man deserves a podcast episode for his trouble.

4) I learned that Relius can be a hella debater when he wants to, and that he has an amazing taste in porn... simply amazing. But I'm still all about biker babes and dommes. Get me the hook up sometime.

5) I learned that this episode of EFF ESS DEE has the highest ratings so far. Congrats, you guys! And especially you, Sypher, for making this miniseries! IT'S A HIT!

6) I learned to remember to follow up on doing a favor for FakeSypha. My indirect thanks to you all for keeping me entertained enough to realize this.

7) I learned that this was a great timekiller while visiting my old man and installing Diablo 3.

8) I learned to stop posting at this point before some of you get pissed off at my random silly lessons learned, if you haven't put me on ignore already.

Don't compare what happened with Glock to what happened with you. See, Glock didn't go around lacing profanity laden assaults on Master or Moris. Glock was close to the situation but Glock show'd next to no interest in DOA outside helping out with the forums. How many tournaments did he go to? None, so why should anyone think he'd want to SUDDENLY be involved with the offline DOA scene? If he had spoke up he would have gotten what he wanted and all of you would have been coming in on HIM for going to Japan instead of a veteran who's "Earned" the chance to go see Team Ninja - and you know thats the god damn trutth

First and foremost, who the hell are you? I've never even heard of you before, so I'm guessing you're no one of any relevance. All I was able to gather from your obnoxious and retarded posts is that you're a fan of Manny that stands on the sidelines with pom-poms, constantly cheering him on, even when hard facts are presented to you in plain text.

Furthermore, regarding to what you wrote above, I've attended a few tournaments and offline gatherings when I was back in New York City. I also attended Evo East, met Sorwah, Rikuto, Virtuapai, Hatrify, Newbornathlete, Perfect Legend, HighGuy and many other DoA vets. Heck, we used to have gatherings most friday nights in midtown Manhattan that included myself, Virtuapai, Hatrify, Newborn and many others. We even had Perfect Legend, KasumiChan and some other cool folks that came and chilled with us at one point. But, um, continue on with your nonsense, like you actually know what you're REALLY talking about.

Much like Sorwah stated, I care very much about this community, not about one guy that wants the attention all to himself, or just for his whole surrounding clique, as I previously stated.

Lastly, I never wanted anything handed to me, so there was never a need for me to speak up about anything. Period. Therefore, you can chill on all that talk and keep your damn mouth shut. This will be my only response to you.

Once again, who are you?

Rikuto

Oh, no one important, just as I had originally thought. Carry on.

I think it's funny that this has pretty much been the same exact reaction from everybody who has had that question answered.

Wat?

I wouldn't say Relius is really debating anything though.... it's more akin to stomping his foot while shouting "That's not right and nothing you say can make it so!" Certain people would like to re-write history I guess, even when all the evidence of the past is playing out yet again before their very eyes. That kind of willful ignorance is downright frightening.

Considering he came into this thread basically gunning for me before I'd even said anything I can only imagine he was just spoiling for a fight from the very start, and it didn't matter what it was about as long as he was arguing about something.

Once again, who are you?

I'll put a bow on this right now - obviously you wanted something from those guys or you wouldn't be pissed enough to get on this site and talk about what they didn't do to show their appreciation.

No one is going to fight for you but you and you didn't fight for yourself.

So to get on this website and vent about what you didn't get and how Master and Morris didn't show you respect is juvenile.

You went to some offline tournaments way back when, you grew up and out, I'll admit to getting that tidbit of information wrong - point still stands, you haven't shown much interest in the DOA scene for years.

I'm happy that you're willing to end the conversation on your terms though :)

Information

Hmm, google agrees. Yes, yes you are the champ.

But guess what? You gave nothing back. You weren't obligated to give anything back, you won it, it was yours but you don't hold yearly tournaments, you don't post video, you're not really around to encourage any of the new players to get better, etc.

So, as a player, you're better - as an asset to the community. . .you're kinda just there to take the tournament winnings.

Again, say I'm Team Ninja. I see Master has won X# of tournaments and hes always in our ear trying to get us to notice what hes doing for the community (he holds a DOA tournament every year, he was the one posting video on DOAD.)

I see Mamba and PL low rating the game, talking about how little skill it takes and not really doing anything to support the title. Hmm, who the fuck am I going to give time to?

he has an amazing taste in porn... simply amazing. But I'm still all about biker babes and dommes. Get me the hook up sometime.

.

I'm also into Ayana Angel, Sarah Vandella, Devon Lee, Megan Vaughn and Nicole Aniston.

You tell me what you want, I'll get you what you need.

My favorite part was where Mamba came in saying Important Stuff™, and then there was five minutes where I didn't have to listen to Relius go on about how we're all horrible people for not wanting to be fucked over all the time.

My issue is that you're pretending like you're getting fucked over all the time when you've got much more control over this situation than you realize.

Master is where he is and hes going to stay there until one or all of you step up and do something about it and getting on this forum and crying foul ain't cuttin it.

Whats stopping you guys from forming an ACTUAL coalition, with the goal of drawing Team Ninja's attention to the situation. Mamba won WCG once, grab Offbeat who won in 07, PL who won evo and have sorwah represent them when talking to Team Ninja. Do what Master and Morris are doing, except with more people and more "credibility". Oh but that takes time and effort and you'd rather just let Sorwah do all that shit himself or hope it works out OR, do what you've been doing since forever, bitch on the forums.

But its ok right? Just sit on this forum and cry like little bitches. I don't agree with any of you completely but I see your point clearly. Master can continue to be the face of DOA - it means fuck all to me in sunny north florida - but if you guys want better then you need to go out and get it yourselves and it starts with not being jackasses.

But, for my money, I'll take all the things Master has done for the community over the number of tournaments you guys have collectively won.

Get thicker skin. You've in so many words said that you win on counters, I point it out and now I'm attacking you.

Like Mystiks dad told me after they got me kicked out of buy.com for telling his little girl shes a BJ queen.

"Just own it."

Edit: I didn't use the words BJ queen, I just asked nicely is it true you sucked some guys cock to get onto CGI. Perfectly legitimate question considering that I've been telling people that Offbeat and Dave ran a train on her in June of 07. . . .I also tell people her tits are too big.
