Yeah lol that's a big problem for me too with discord in general, I mostly use my tablet online and discord isn't compatible with it so It's a bit more inconvenient to check out. I'm happy I at least checked it out anyway but I prefer this little thread here for SK. :) I also check the forum of SKI quite a bit as well.

Actually I've continued to post there and it's actually really fun! Thanks for inviting me @Juihau !

I need some confirmation. Is Marvelous Games the company that made Senran Kagura right? (surfing the web) is @Marvelous_Games their official Twitter? because I just got followed by them so wanted to ask if they are the real deal or not. If it's not, it's cool no worries.

Yeah, I'm over in the US though so it's pretty strange somewhat. Most of my list from people who follow are usually DOA JPN players, a few people from FSD, other fighting game players, FB, and so on. I have to admit but I didn't even know they were made by or published by XSeed or Marvelous Games. Extremely late I know, I don't actually play the series. It wasn't until DOA5LR's costume packs that made me take a look on who or what made SK. Or maybe this whole time I got it mixed and knew it was made by one of them but either completely forgot or thought of another company completely.

But yeah, won't dissemble the topic for you guys.

Dunno. I seen videos and it just looks like another Dynasty Warriors/Orochi type. Is there a reason why I should pick the series over KOEI type games? (serious question by the way). I'd probably play Ayane but then she's also in Orochi so it's like eh. The game never drew me in because it just looks like another Warriors clone.

If you do tell me, I really need some people besides random players to play minigames with online. It's kinda repetitive offline in the game modes but it's much more fun online where you can battle and do games with other players, although atm character balance sucks ass and only a select few girls on the base game are viable, it's only really the guest DLC characters who are considered the high tiers. My favorite girl Ryona used to be good in SV but they nerfed her to be the worst character in the game online...

Depends on the game and what you're looking for. If it's just about gameplay, the Versus games are essentially Warriors lite, yeah, but the 3DS games play very different. Both of them have fixed cameras, but Burst is sort of a beat em up in the vein of something like Streets of Rage with the speed cranked way up. Deep Crimson is...honestly hard to explain, since I can't think of anything to compare it to. You kinda just have to see it for yourself. Though keep in mind, that's super early in the game and the first chance you get to play those characters, so they're still pretty limited.

As for whatever else the games can offer...characters. That's honestly the main reason I actually really got into the series. For as shallow as the series seems at a glance, it actually has a cast of genuinely likable characters once you get to the meat of it. The writing is anime as hell, don't get me wrong, but it does a surprisingly good job at making you want the characters to succeed at the trials they face.

Just, y'know...don't go for Estival Versus or the anime if that's what you want. I can go on about why if you want, but otherwise, just trust me.

I like the games for the characters too, I may be a pervert but I'm a legit one, I also judge based on personality. That's why I dislike Homura personality wise and not appearance wise

I actually got New Wave, It's okay so far though I don't understand it entirely. I managed to get a Matsuri card so I'm happy about that. And yeah Yomi in her heart mission annoyed me with her dumb levels of forcing everyone to live with nothing.

Yomi imo has always been like a nice version of Lili, she's almost like a troll of sorts. Everything she says there's always a rude or lowkey bitchy undertone to it which I love. She's probably the shadiest SK girl to date atm

I hope when they release the doa girls they reveal Sonico's release date and once she's out they move onto the new wave girls. And no that hadn't been posted Kasumi but I like that bikini.
