This is what happens when the only game you've played is the one with the weakest characterization. Especially since that's not even the role she plays 90% of the time.

I've seen some footage of SV where she's talking to Minority about something and I've seen the anime too and she seemed like the mother of the group or something like that.

Yeah, she plays a very team mom/big sis sort of role, and is usually the straight man to her team's antics.

She kinda played that role in deep crimson as well. That game also emphasized how much she wanted to be Hibari's friend. The versus games, I noticed tend to exaggerate the more humorous personality traits of some of the characters like how estival versus depicts Daidoji as a dumbass who cant even do basic multiplication and doesnt understand metaphors (which may be an alternative reason why she is held back from graduating). I personally enjoy Haruka's own brand of perviness, especially her encounter with Ikaruga in bon appetite.

Marvelous (Senran Kagura's makers) actually made this game too

Sun Ce (Hakufu), Lu Bu (Ryofu), and Guan Yu (Kan'u) are really fun to play as in SKEV, so a new IkkiTousen game with SK type style would be great

Btw you could make Sakura from Street Fighter in Estival Versus by

- Using Sun Ce (you could use any character for cosplay, but she's the closest to feeling like you're actually playing as Sakura)
- Use Guan Yu's outfit with the 1st color
- Use Ayane's hair with the 4th color
- Use Ayane's bandana

Kinda hard to pick a top 3 since I've only played EV. But I'd say my top 3 are Jasmine, Murasaki, and Kagura.

Jasmine- personality and design
Murasaki- I identify with her and find her pretty funny
Kagura- I like how her power's legendary and the story with the festival sisters when they were younger was one of the few highlights in EV's story mode

Btw I wanted to do an experiment. Japan did the popularity poll to see which girls would be the Mascots for SK PBS which ended up being Yumi, Hikage, and Yomi, There were the side-representatives too which were Ikagura, Yozakura, Asuka, Mirai, Shiki, Ryobi, and Kafuru
