I loved sc3's stages the best, remember that one where you fought in the mt. Fuji active volcano with lava you could fall in? Epic! I think that game had some of the darkest stages in SC's history, which I really liked.

Its kinda sad that it's been so long since I played SC3 I'm starting to forget so much about it. I bet I'd get destroyed if I tried to play it now. Good thing for the Soul Calibur wikia atleast that I can look back at it using the articles over on that website!

Also I managed to see that the stage I was thinking of that was like Dracula was "Romanian Valley - Castle Siege"

Yes, that's the one! Great music, and it was epic knowing the fighter's fate if they fell in the lava. The Roman castle stage was cool too, if you went to the edge, you could see thousands of soldiers siege the castle, and I recall some tents down there too.

I loved when stages used to be the specific home stage of one of the fighters. Its a shame they stopped that in Tekken and I hope it doesn't stop in Soul Calibur. I'm reading this wikia and its crazy how much info is there for the stages.

Lol, I love the wikia, it's a great place to get some good insight and knowledge regarding the stage history and music. I've found out so many amazing secrets about stages that I'd never realize had it been for the wiki.

Yeah over the years of no Soul calibur games I've forgot so much stuff about the stages and characters and yesterday talking on this thread reminded me of the wikia. I hadn't been on it in I think 3 years or something. Its interesting looking at stuff about the series right now.

I like reading the trivias at the bottom of the page the best, you'll find some really neat facts there if you look. Like I just recently found out that Amy's SC4 dress is not actually gothic lolita, because it's too revealing to be classified anything more than just inspired by Lolita guidelines. And Xiba is apparently the only SC fighter ever to forget the name of his own weapon. XD

Lol I actually remember reading that about her outfit as well years ago. Atleast her SC4 outfit is more covered up than her one in SC3. I'm not surprised FIBA would forget his weapons name, he didn't seem to be the brightest from what was shown in SC5. And yeah the amount of trivia for each character is really interesting. Like how Amy could have been only 12 or so in SC3!

I guess that's why they kept her age unknown, they didn't want any controversy regarding violence on preteens. Also, I found out that Casssandra was actually supposed to be an incarnation of the goddess Aprodite, but it was a dropped plot point and never realized. Talim's weapons were also supposed to be "alive" in sc2, but they somehow dropped that too because of the complexity.

Yeah I'm actually looking at Cassandras page right now. She was the first character I ever played as well. Also it says she was born in the year 1570 and is 21 in soul calibur 4 so it takes place in 1591 but did someone already say that? Anyway for some reason I thought she was older than that. Lol I like how her weight chart is "unknown ( claims to have lost weight recently )".

Yep, the Alexandras all appear to be insecure about their weight, even Patrokolos who just outright refuses to tell. XD I think they did that for a bit of humor, since SC is a more serious game. I think it's weird how alot of the older guys in the game all weigh far less than I do, since I'm a solid 160 lb. Most of them are lighter than you'd expect, even more jarring since they have muscle that actually adds on weight.

Yeah weights and heights in fighting games almost always seem to be completely off. I think the heaviest character is the Lizard man (Aeon) who is 295ibs which considering he's a dinosaur I can understand. Astaroth is somewhere in the 280's.

Edit: actually I just have seen that Ashlotte is 493Ibs! She is a clockwork orange woman though so maybe she doesn't count?

I think the heaviest character is Angol Fear, who I remember weighs in somewhere in the tonnes, but she hasn't adapted to the gravity yet so maybe she's out too. I know Talim is like 93-95 pounds, which is honestly difficult to believe....that's almost underweight. 0_o

Yeah I forgot Angol Fear has super heavy. And wow no wonder Talim collapsed in her SC3 ending if she's that weight!

God I need SC6 to be announced soon! Genuinely even if it took them another year and a half or more just it being confirmed to be in production would be so great. Especially when it started getting rolling like with SC5 when every couple of weeks a new character/characters alternate outfit would be revealed and I was so hyped for it!

Don't worry, it'll happen soon, we just gotta believe! Any day now they'll announce something when we're completely clueless, and the hype will be even greater! :-D

I hope so and then hopefully this thread can get more popular. It will be good when trailers and screenshots are coming out and people can speculate about it all! :)

Exactly! I know Tyaren loves SC, so he'll most likely be the one to pop up here and tell everyone if he does get any insight on the game

Yeah I'm sure Tyaren will be the one to actually make everyone aware that its really happening. Lol how we single handedly filled up the entire last page! But yeah we'll just have to wait for some kind of reveal... Even though it probably won't be for a while but oh well.

going back to the stage discussion i think v had the best stages so far because it was... so drastically different from what they usually give us.
and i guess i say that because it was a HUGE step up from iv which featured mostly lifeless stages. iii is the winner tho
