I don't think they put a big emphasis on Captain Falcon since it was so obvious that he'd return. Still, it would have been nice to actually see something from him.

Oh well, hopefully he doesn't suck again.

Gotta love those Fire Emblem characters. They do look bad ass, but I still would have chosen someone WITHOUT a sword at all. I would have chosen Hector.

Actually, its just 36. Nintendo has clarified that Chrom isn't playable (which is why he didn't get his own "splash screen" with his name and a cheesy slogan). Based on the brief gameplay footage of him in the trailer, he may be part of Robin's FInal Smash.

Lucina... Not sure if she is a clone of Marth or a costume select because she has his moveset (except her FBBBDB has more rainbow colors in DB stabs). Roy's our boy!

Robin being included is awesome. A Fire Emblem character that has a ranged game is welcome (not to mention he was one of the main protagonists of Awakening so he was bound to get in).

Chrom not being playable is kind of disappointing but at least he is getting an appearance (looks like Robin's Final Smash).

More Fire Emblem characters for me to play! At this rate I'll be getting a WiiU, I still haven't finished Twilight Princess and haven't played Skyward Sword yet, plus Hyrule Warriors is on the way.

And I have a friend who is very excited for the official return of the Justice Knees Captain Falcon.

More fire emblem characters are always welcome in my book. Lucina is no Lyn and Robin is no Hector, but they're solid and unique all the same. Just hope Lucina isn't a Marth clone.

They really should have just made Lucina the female alternate for Marth I don't think she's different enough from any of the other FE characters to deserve her own spot imo. Really glad Robin made it in though.

Happy for Robin, his style looks cool, but Chrom would have been better than Lucina, she's way too similar to marth.

To clear up anything about Lucina and Marth, I would check out this Pic of the Day by Sakurai.

So, Marth's sweetspot is still in the tip of his sword, and Lucina... doesn't have a sweetspot? That's definitely different than the Marth/Roy sweetspot differences.

Yeah, Marth's sweetspot was at the tip, and Roy's was in the middle of his sword.

No need to justify clones Nintendo we understand that they are inevitable. XD I don't personally like Lucina but I know a lot of people who like her character so I'm glad for them (but for me it's Marth and Ike all the way ).

Basically she is the true Roy replacement now minus the desperately close range Roy had to be to get Marth's equivalency of tip hits and fire, the way I use Marth now will be perfect with Lucina. Guess I'm forced to play her as my main (not that I mind, I could always use a female main in some fighting game but I want Roy back so much).

Now I just wonder if she will have Aethir or a form of it.
