DOA5LR Support the PS4/PS3 EU Player against SCEE and Tecmo

I'm no longer a British citizen, or I'd have phoned trading standards days ago. Feel free to do that on our behalf, mind. There's nothing on the box to indicate that the DLC carry-over is a) not ready, or b) not actually definite in any way.

At the very least, you could get the game removed from sale until the boxes are re-stickered, and the digital point of sale is updated.

As for the DLC not working after purchase, all you're entitled to is your money back, I'm afraid, and I'd imagine Sony have a clause in the PSN agreement that dictates terms and time-frames.

From my experience no problem with 1.02 with the new DLC Outfits at all. The Ninja Pack 1 outfits showing up in the character select, well i bought only Eliot, and Pack 2 shows up too, still havent bought it yet. About the Hot Getaway Pack thats my problem haha it shows there are not available for me.

I received answers from both parties, it seems SCEE is actually the one to blame. TN apologized and said that the problem is that the PS Europe didn't upload the individual character, so ofc the character is also not part of the bundle for 9,99€. They are just a bunch of monkey, incapable of uploading some stuff.
SCEE btw answered me that it is not possible to make stuff bought online "reversed". I answered them if they are kidding me, because I
didn't receive anything for my money, how it was written in the description and that I will not pay for their stupidity.

You downloaded the corresponding costume catalog right?

I also used an import save from my PS3 but I would be very surprised if that's the reason why it's working for us and not for you.

Regarding your system being a different region, I thought PS4 was region free (could be wrong though). Hmm this indeed is so annoying.

PS4 is region free, indeed. I have accounts on HK, UK, JP, and US PSNs, and games from all of them. This would be the first time DLC presented a problem from non-hardware region PSN sources.

1.02 has no hiccups for me so far, tried the unlock command on a sub account and it works. None of my DLC disappeared.

About the missing characters, someone at Koei said in an email:
"I believe that this is an issue Team Ninja is trying to iron out with SCEE in person today so I’m hoping they will provide a quick answer."

Kuno, you should go to the PSN Store homepage -> On the homepage go to new releases and then DLC (it will be listed as games, dlc, demo's) -> Go to filter and then tick ''Vechten'' (it should have 16 updates now) -> It should be the second row, first pic, it's listed as DOA5LR Hot Getaway Set (DOA5+, at least that's how it's listed for me).

Let me know what you find.

You already purchased this set, ofc i did on the PS3 lol but why i cant download it on PS4.

If I search for the getaway pack on the internet it still lists the price of €12,99.

However, if you go to the store on the PS4 itself, it should say 'free', if not, then I don't know as well lol..

The certainty can never be obtained, but honestly how much is likely that TK could have made so much mistakes since DoA5U until now and always about the European regions of the Sony store?

I don't want defend necessarily TN or KT, but in this case the most likely explanation is that SCEE is actually the main responsible of such mess, overall considering that is the part less damaged in all this (the proportion of fans of TN/TK displeased in this moment is definitely higher than the proportion of owners of European Sony consoles).

I really hope that the @Corza rumor will be revealed to be true. Of course I'm not happy for what is happening to you (hoping that you will get your contents or refunds for it), but maybe this last "DoA DLC crysis" with Sony Europe will be helpful to avoid any similar case even in future. After months of this mess, I think that it would be even the time for it.

That might actually pretty much be the cause.
That's what we get for companies trying to set up limits and boundaries like DRM, regional control etc, instead of trying to go towards the users' needs and leave more freedom.
So much for a "globalized" world, when we're still chained by silly things as these by companies who just try to make up profit by having it their own way.

No your not. None of the ninja costumes or season pass costume for marie rose etc shows up for me, even though I have downloaded the required catalogues/patch.

I'm pretty sure there are hundreds of players with this problem still...
