Like I said in the morning I'm gonna try drawing a line art version of her head there for you guys to try coloring without having to worry about brightening up existing colors.


I also tried running it through my phones filter. I can't edit out the rest of the pic but I was testing the highlights in the hair

That second one is closer to how I want the highlights, in terms of being iridescent. What do you guys think?

I was hoping for the true blue of that first filtered pic to the base (what is black normally) and the ice blue of the second filtered pic to be the highlight (what is ice blue normally)

Yeah, I can do this~

as for how, I use Photoshop CS6 to do all my work.
If you got it(or anyone else), I colorize things the same way I turn black and white photos into color. I used some of these tutorials http://itsphotoshop.com/tagged/colorization to learn how.
