I feel bad saying it too because I don't want to insukt winners but I look at it like pirates of the carribean.
They added movie characters to the ride. So congrats to johnny depp for being immortalized in one of Disneyland's top rides, but for me, the ride is ruined now because fully half of it is Davy Jones and bar bossa squawking

It's just like the Halloween DLC costume choices. At first you are pretty sure, TN recreates one of the winners or one very outstanding design, only to be surprised by a costume, you would have never guessed would make it in the game...
I told you guys before, during, and after the contests that every accepted costume submission was looked at by Team NINJA and had a chance of getting in the game. The 'contests' themselves just gave a way for fans to show off which ones they enjoyed most. Winners of the contests weren't guaranteed to be in the game, and Losers weren't guaranteed to not be in the game. Submitting a design was forfeiting all legal ownership to Team NINJA to do as they please with it.
That being said, there needs to be a King Bass soon...

Well there was never any guarantee but the chances significantly go up of course. 3 of the top 10 have already been revealed and those Leifang, Ayane and Hitomi designs were pretty high up in votes throughout the contest.
Now that we kind of know what TN is looking for in outfits I think these have a really good chance of being included:

You mean her blue sleeve over the bikini lol.If Kasumi's blue kimono doesn't make it in, I'll seriously throw a fit. I didn't like her Halloween outfit very much, but that blue kimono would more than make up for it.
