I don't really think it's about winning, but I'd say most of the player base will be on PS4. That doesn't mean it be the best platform to play on, I imagine the PC version could be. After how DoA5LR servers ran on Xbox I'll be avoiding it for now. I can't see the Xbox version lacking as much this time but time will tell I guess. Also PC version will be getting better treatment this time so it will probably be the best version. I just hope the nude modders keep the mods to themselves and don't blast it everywhere like they did with DoA5 on pc last time around.

There are no servers....Everything is P2P and PS4 was just as laggy as xbox because DoA5's net code was garbo. Also, after seeing a bot that held everything on DoA5LR PC version.....I'm pretty hesitant to go anywhere near DoA6 PC.

I played Last Round on Xbox One since it came out, and been playing on PS4 for a couple of years.. Trust me when I say it, Xbox DoA ran like shit Online compared to PS4. I've also played it a bunch of times on PC.

I'm telling you right now, there's no difference. They both run on the same netcode using peer-to-peer networking. Your anecdotal evidence doesn't change this.

Oh they are different, if the code is the same as you say then okay I wouldn't argue with that. But the performance really does show online, I mean it really show's and I've done multiple tests with friends, not that I needed to it was already obvious with experience on all platforms.

They are not....Like you can't go by anecdotal evidence. It doesn't work that way. If it did then you'd have to go by my experience where I've come across more laggers on ps4 than xbox, mostly because more people use wifi on ps4 it seems than xbox.

Like your argument doesn't work. It will never change the fact that the netcode is the same. They both function exactly the same using peer-to-peer networking.

I doubt that.

In the poll 1 or 2 people chose XBOX. The system has some cool stuff too it, but the reason it will not sell on XBOX is due to the fact that Microsoft hired Phil Spencer and the system has no games.

You mean the guy that has been acquiring studios left and right and turned xbox around from the sinking ship it was with the last guy.....You are also basing how a games going to do from a poll on this website. I love FSD, but this isn't exactly the best place to get accurate polling for that scenario.

Last year when Namco released their numbers, they sold 2 million copies of Tekken 7 across the consoles. At the time steamspy showed Tekken 7 on steam only had 300k. Not horrible, but PC gaming is not exactly selling in the same rate as console games. There is no way in hell DoA sells better on PC than on xbox. It just aint happening. This game is already niche even compared to other fighting games. Only the most staunch players are going to get it on pc.

No XBOX is a sinking ship right now, nobody is buying them and XBOX was doing way better before 2008. Tekken 7 didn't even sell 500,000 copies on XBOX in 2017! PC numbers were very close to it then.

Look at Soulcalibur. Honestly most of the people I know actually play it on PC. A game like DOA6 is likely to push more units this time because the graphics actually matter in DOA (sorry Namco).

You're going to see people with money to do so jump ship to PC because if money wasn't an issue, why the hell would you suffer through outdated consoles and pointless monthly fees to play online?

Because of 1 or 2 games a year that are good and exclusive nowadays. XBOX had ZIP this year, PS4 had Spiderman and God of War. IF RDR2 was on PC I wouldn't be playing it on console that's for god dammed sure.

I think the poll holds some value... dedicated players that bother to post in a forum are likely the same players to keep the game active.

"When you compare monthly sales to a year ago, all three consoles are up. The Nintendo Switch is up 14,908 units, the PlayStation 4 is up 4,659 units and the Xbox One is up 56,657 units "

Xbox has around 40 million units sold. No its not as good as PS4, but xbox is not a sinking ship. Its doing perfectly fine. A sinking ship doesn't acquire 20+ studios in a single year.

My current PC cost me $3,000. My xbox one x + PS4 Pro + 4k TV was less than my entire pc build + 1440p g sync monitor. Granted I'm overkill on my machine, but most people don't own good PC's and most casual gamer's (like it or not they are important for sales) definitely do not play on PC, let a lone fighters. Then you have the cheaters that are WAAAY more prevalent on PC. I love PC gaming, but I come across cheaters daily. I'm not looking forward to all the bots that are going to pop up on doa6.

I always get the physical and try to avoid the digital as much as possible but in this case I want the 25 costumes. I don't know what to do honestly.
Just do what I'm doin', get digital and such but if you have extra money buy physical as well or preorder it so that way when the digital game is allowed to be downloaded, you can get the content and the save data on your ps4 and then you can delete the actual digital copy once you have the physical version's data installed since I'm sure DLC and preorder content will carry over between phys. And dig.

It's costly but if that plan works to save up HDD space, it's well worth the $140 imo

why not just buy the deluxe content separately? I guess you just cant wait. also if you have the digital version why would you bother deleting it to play the disc version? like why get up to change discs when you dont even have to.

The deluxe content likely won't be available right away at release like the ones for LR and Ultimate that took months to be available as separate dlc, I want Kasumi with her tropical sailor and white boots and her sigma costume day one xD

And digital games take way more space up on a HD which is why I prefer physical, I have a 4T blue external HDD now(it's not cheap -_-) so I could just transfer my digital copy on that but it's a hassle and takes several minites

Majority of games now don't run off the disc anymore. Most of the game is installed and just uses the disc to fill in the gaps to ensure you still own the game.

Yeah but even then I just prefer disc, takes less time to install(digital requires wifi and downloading time can vary) and if I want to make more space I can just move the data to external HDD or just delete the install rather than the whole game digitally which can take forever

I've made my arguments. More people are jumping ship. Xbox is selling faaaar less for how long that thing has been out and they could have a million studios and still have one or two crap games come out a year + one good one. Last year cup head...

There isn't one absolutely killer exclusive on that console... At least PS4 has that.

Maybe someday consoles will meet my expectations, but when popularity is your only retort... And something that is slipping heavy on graphics. I'm not convinced.
