lol NOW he says Ryu's drill kick is OP? What kind of testers do they employ there if he doesn't realize this stuff until seeing youtube combos?
I'm excited to hear about Bayman's buffs though. He's always been too weak, keeping OH's almost exclusive to grapplers should give him a chance to shine
Honestly, I'm not surprised that they feel it's too high. The air bounce is a bit sick and probably have some LONG combos like in DOAU2.He didn't say anything about it being "OP." He said he feels it "might" have too high of a launch height for tag mode and that he wants to go back and look at it further. You guys need to learn how to read.
Whats really funny is people bitch about stuff and then a developer talks about something and people freak out.
Probably one of those moves that make sense in singles to allow for his air throw but just causes too much trouble in tag. Like Bass' from DOA3.

DOA has a terrible reputation, deservedly so. DOA5 really has quite an uphill battle going for it. The best way would be to fix the issues a lot of people have with the series and then take that build to a tourney and get it on stream with the devs and knowledgeable players talking about positive changes to the game and how they're making it a fighting game that can actually be taken seriously. There's no better or worse way to sell your game than word of mouth. TN keeping silent like they are isn't going to change anyone's minds.Worse yet is the bad reputation it sustained earlier is working against it via word of mouth as well.
See you in 2019 then! =PMaybe on DOA6 they could do what you've suggested.
I was burned so badly by DOA4 that I'm not going that route again. I'm being as critical as I am because I don't want a repeat.we need to get behind the game, support it, and talk it up sensibly - give it the benefit of the doubt - until proven wrong post release.
Well we don't know if it's good and TN is keeping awful quiet which isn't a good sign. I think E3 will make or break DOA5 for me.If the game is good and we're grumbling and casting doubt, it doesn't help the concentric circles of interest from outside of the core.
d3v has been trying to give DOA5 a lot of positive light on SRK but I don't believe that for one second that the majority of SRK feels differently about DOA than they did before and that those guys are open to new games. That said, it should be noted the positivity towards the game whenever its featured on SRK and certainly via other games media. The fighting game scene now has changed and is more open to new games more than before.
What do you mean what happened to it? When was I ever cautiously positive? =PWhatever happened to being cautiously positive?
