Personally I would like a Doax3 (but just like a true improvement from Doax2, in a similar way like with Doa4 -Doa5), but in this moment I would prefer to know that the Razor's edge version of NG3 will arrive also on Xbox and PS3.

I'm pretty sure it's a Wii U exclusive launch title, so that seems unlikely.

I'd personally love DOAX3, but I have a feeling it'll be some port of DOA5 to the Wii-U.

Hmmm I don't think they'd announce a new DOAX game before DOA5 is even released but who knows. I remember some time back after DOA5 was first announced they stated they wouldn't be doing anymore DOAX games. I took it with a grain of salt because demand can quickly override plans. If it isn't a new Metroid game or other collaborative effort I can only imagine it being a new IP as TN IP's already have releases this year.

No.

Let's not be illogical here.

Well I'm not saying it's going to happen, but I think Virtua Fighter with the graphics of DOA5 would be spectacular. VF5 is a great game, but the models are repulsive. But that's going off topic, but yeah, that was just a little "what-if".

Imagine it's Virtua Fighter 6, by Team Ninja under the guidance of Sega. That'd be pretty cool.
OMG I'd have a conniption if that ever happened. I'd still want the AM2 team to do the balancing though. I love TN and DOA but they can't hold a candle to the VF team in that regard. TN graphics, designs, presentation, and personality with VFs rock solid core mechanics. Wishful thinking is wishful thinking..

Sega will make a VF6 on next gen consoles.

When Team Ninja announce their game at TGS, it's either going to be a WiiU title or DOAX3. I have a feeling it's going to be a WiiU title because if it was DOAX3, I doubt it'll be on this generation of consoles. So who knows, it could be DOAX3 on WiiU

I wouldn't want a DOA5U to be announced so soon or hell, at all, but I also wouldn't be surprised. I'll just wait until they officially announce their title before I continue to make random thoughts.

I think it would be kind of stupid to announce DOA5 for the Wii U a few days before it launches for the other systems. A new IP would be cool, but it's probably just a Ninja Gaiden for 3DS or something like that.

To me the way it's worded sounds like it's almost definitely DOAX3, but I'm not getting my hopes up too high. I'm just going to tell myself it's a belated DOA5U announcement and then be pleasantly surprised if it's not :)

Have they ever said anything about DOA5 making it's way to the Vita? I'm not sure if they're commented on that, and since so many fighters have ported towards that handheld it seems like a possibility. I hope it's not a port though.

Well, if it's DOAX3, they better use the first one as the starting point and try to make it a real volleyball game instead of the wankfest that was DOAX2. Still can't believe it didn't even have offline multiplayer. It's like the sole purpose of that game was giving pubescent boys something to fap to.

Was DOAX2 so horrible from a gameplay standpoint? I played DOAXBV on XBox and enjoyed it, but passed on DOAX2. I hear nothing good about it from a gameplay perspective. I hear it was basically a lesbian dating sim (a bit extreme sounding imo). I honestly can't be much more excited than I am already for DOA5 so I may be a little biased in my lack of excitement on any new reveal.

There wouldn't be a Bayonetta 2 without Nintendo. There's still MGRising coming out for PS3 and Xbox, which looks amazing as well, but Platinum getting so cozy with Nintendo really makes me consider buying a WiiU. Let's see what Team Ninja has to offer.

They screwed up the volleyball game which was decent before(Not something great). Added more events to do that play poor or are just boring.

Im going to say Wii U port of DOA5 or a new IP. Itagaki-less Team Ninja needs to establish itself, and creating a new IP is the real way to do that.
