You'll have to wait till session 2 xD on PS5 unless you're just willing to hack your ps5, you're not gonna get any game models
In session 2 when steam has access tho you'll definitely get the models extracted and such like Street Fighter 6 did, that's why I'm excited as a potential steam CNTer since we'll have mods, models extracted and likely a CrAcKeD version of the CNT by the weekend's end xD and on top of that there will definitely be Tekken 8 model mods put in Tekken 7 as well so steam players are gonna be eating good long until the next beta or the actual game release!
Also saw Lilis move list, she's definitely gonna be good in T8. She has a new low from her Mirror Image stance and a few new lows in general and her combos seem really damaging based on the few Lili vids I've seen on Twitter. I'm not watching many tho since I want to learn the game myself and I don't really feel like Twitter lilis have my outlook and perspective on her combo potential yet, I feel I can find more. I may be going to comic con today in San Diego so hopefully I'll be able to play lili there if they have any games set up

I keep telling myself I'll try other characters but I just come crawling back to Asuka's thicc juicy tomboy thighs...
Also after playing the beta, this is for sure gonna get cracked you get put into training mode as you wait for rank match and have access to quite a few options like tutorial and combo challenges so all the modders need to do is figure out how to get rank match to "work" offline and we'll see PC Tekken 8 content for a good while. I can't wait to see what mods people will make lol.
As an aside it looks like this might be the first Tekken game since 5 to not feature Asuka's legacy school uniform... Her C1 P2 colour is the exact same colours as that costume
that was my go to too.
I'm still hoping for the workout costume from 7 to return though especially if someone mods muscle definition onto her.

If they do find a way to do that, I'll definitely be happy since they'll also probably add the free camera to it, and I want to learn to mod Tekken 8 next so hopefully it'll be easy to mod for, I want to give Lili her old T5 standard dress back and maybe give her different hairstyles
I looked through the command training and it seems alot of moves are easier now, like Nina's evil mist is able to be done from her wavedash, and it seems grapples can be done with one button now to make it easier but using the actual original inputs increases the damage to its max damage which is good.
Lili seems to have some removed stuff like her BT 3+4,2 seems gone since her BTed 2 is a power crush now, and her 4 on CH isn't magic anymore, and her f4 doesn't knock down anymore either but it's still a CH launcher. She's also able to cancel immediately into her crouching state from dew glide with d,df although I think it was possible in T7 too since I did it a few times, but I hope her horizon slide from dew glide is still in since I loved that long range CH low xD
Also I had made a side by side gif of Lili's winpose from Tekken 7 compared to her Tekken 8 version for fun... and can you believe it got THIS many likes? :'-)
I don't think I've ever received over 300 likes before and all it took to get 1K was basically showing off Lili's Tekken 8 hime cut next to her Tekken 7 helmet xD

Eh. The music sucks in this character select, compared to Tag 2. Hopefully the gameplay will make up for it.
Tbh I love the character select music, it's really hype and way better than what Tekken 7 did in its character selects, the only character select I think it doesn't top is tekken 4 for the dark ambience and the original arcade Tekken 6 character select and the Tekken 7 fated retribution arcade theme
I love the character selection presentation too, it's imo better than what DOA6 currently has since there's more personality than most of the used idle stances in 6 and the confirm animations imo are very lively and I love the speaking lines the characters use, Lili hands down had the best one imo. If custom costumes or even preset costumes come back it'll be really epic to see everything visually but I hope Tekken 8 will give everyone their unique builds they have now for custom costumes rather than the reused model for all the men and women(bar the Kings, Akuma, Marduk and Gigas who have unique builds) since imo looking back, Tekken 7 looked awful xD I was really 19 thinking lili was somehow on par with DOA5 Kasumi xD
The current stages are cool but I'm not really feeling the music much, the Yakushima stage round 1 theme I do like tho. I'm hoping this is just a case of it being the first 5 stages since I really want some hype music like Tekken 7 had

It wouldn't make any sense for them to have her 2P colour be a reference to that costume and then still add the costume it's referencing lol

Everyone is going to have alternative costumes. They just haven’t revealed them yet (outside of Jin and Kazuya’s Karate Gi outfits in the announcement trailer). We just have to be patient for now.
Hopefully they'll do minor overhauls or revisions of their secondary gear like they did Jin and Kazuya, I'd love an altered take on Lili's default white dress buy I think they are doing that since they're not using old assets anymore
Also does the beta end tomorrow? I don't care much since I have the command lists I need downloaded but I don't like seeing something I don't have access to on my TL when that's what everyone else is talking about, it gets annoying especially since I already had to avoid lili combos for the last two days xD
