We don't have the official release yet so this isn't the final base roster, as Harada said a couple of weeks ago, it is not finalized. So we will see Lidia, Kunimitsu II, Miguel, Anna, Julia (and/or Michelle) and others show up later around when Bamco announce the game's release date.

32 characters seems about right for a full roster though, Tekken 8 doesn't need to have 50 characters at launch

I think the Lili vs Azucena cutscene was supposed to be a gag fight, which is interesting to think about.
And the stage in Azu's trailer looks nice, and I like how the walls on the bottom layer have an animation of their own.
Idk. I think Katarina was a bad diversity hire.

It could be, I don't think they have a relationship besides that since the intro gives off as if Lili just walked in xD
And tbh I think Katarina was one of the best new additions in Tekken tbh, I loved her design and her story had potential but idk, they dropped the ball with how her ending and Gigas ending was handled, spilling the reveal too soon xD it would definitely be cool to see her, Azu and Christie all in the same game but idk if that'll happen xD

Back then yeah but let's be honest, as far as DOA5 onwards besides Marie and Nyo, I think Tekken has had some pretty solid Character designs that can keep up with more recent designs from the FG side
They could do better with Azucena's facial expressions tho since I think her face model imo is kinda lacking anf is more bland compared to the other girls, it's like they wanted to merge Katarina and Christie. I hope maybe they'll touch her up tho before release since despite the rumors, I doubt the game is fully finished. They still have alot to work on before they drop it

Here is how I feel about Harada: he's more pompous than Hideo Kojima, he's a thief that doesn't give credit where it's due, the fame got to his head, and he truly makes his base feel weak to the grandeur of his overrated multi-billion-dollar creation. Can he be surprised that more and more people are disgruntled with his revolting behavior? It's about time someone calls him out.
He spends more of his time and more of his soul looking to deflate the meaning of the word "we" when it's a word that he should seriously look into in a positive light for a change in his sad, pathetic life. If you want to have this big rockstar, I'm better than you persona you aren't on Twitter crying about how a fan jokingly threatened to hit you with a "burning hammer."
Harada is proof that you can be a successful person in the game industry and still be a worthless buffoon with no good ideas, but toxic nature to the people that actually support his overhyped games.
Go play Tekken and enjoy it, that's fine, but don't anyone ever try telling me that Harada is a peach.
Tekken isn't a fighting game more than it's Harada's totalitarian North Korea.
We (see what I did there) might be taking Harada a little too serious here with the "Don't ask me for shit" heh. Some of it is also his team in terms of decision making. I heard there's some guy in his team that base things off character usage and statistics for which characters can return, unsure if that's true or not.
But on point, we have to remember that Harada isn't what people make it out to be, he's a social media enjoyer and that the Twitter user who wanted to hit him with a burning hammer took him seriously. If anything, maybe the user wasn't serious either because Burning Hammer is the name of a move in Tekken by King/Jaycee/Julia. You can also ask Gill Hustle for validity on this since he got a picture with him for DOA6 event but fun bit, Harada played DOA6 with him and he enjoyed it. He also physically purchased a copy off of Shimbori's hands at EVO that time. Did he buy it to "steal" ideas? or was it because he also supports other 3D fighters? damn, no one will know. It'll forever be a mystery.
Hey here's another one, he wanted to create a 3D fighter only venue to compete with Ono's 2D fighter venue idea and was willing to put money out of his own pocket for a pot bonus for DOA. Unfortunately this did not happen because Ono left Capcom prior to it, but damn... guess he really doesn't like DOA. Shame.

See that burning hammer move is what made it an obvious joke and Harada capitalized on it for pity (even though he's a rockstar) and said "oh man now it's going to cost more money and security for me to grace you with my appearance at events" like he's the most important human being on the planet. My overall feels on this would be that Harada is being a diva again and I guess he still doesn't make enough money to be able to take constructive or even nonconstructive criticism like a man.
That being said: I don't see the hate for the coffee girl. I love coffee and it doesn't give you kidney stones like tea addiction can.
