Excuse my ignorance but, what is the difference between this and the mod editing thread? This one says texture editing so I would expect it to be just that but, people post far more than that and give download links just like in the mod editing thread. I even see a few people making the same requests and sharing the same posts in both threads.

I think they do both get a little mixed up. As a rule if I make a mod which is just a texture edit, I post it here. If it involves more than just texture editing it goes in the mod editing thread. Even if it is simply removing an item or swapping an item.

I have a question for anyone who knows the answer. When I changed the leaves to snow, when I was retexturing Forest. The snow wouldn't fall at all. I just replaced the leaves with the snow file and nothing would be there? I was also wondering, if i did that with Sakura, would snow actually fall or would they disappear too? Thanks!

How encouraged are requests? I think this would get more attention in the other thread but I have a TON of ideas for costume and look mods that I have been recording since the PC version launched. You guys have come a long way and are now doing some amazing stuff. I'm sure some of you have gotten a great deal of likes from me the past week as I went through both threads

I am still curious how much can you guys do from scratch while retaining quality, since clearly it's easier to mod with pre-existing assets you just make changes to. Some costume ideas I have seem like they can only be made from scratch so sharing some may be pointless if it's not a viable option.

I may split it up between things like swapping costumes, swapping items, swapping hairstyles and changing the color palette in one category and then the more demanding ones like a new costume in another category if anyone is interested in hearing my ideas. I'll have to hunt down pics for some of them too or at the very least link to the examples of them so it would end up being a pretty sizeable post when it's all said and done.

This is the texture editing thread so you would be better posting those type of ideas here and costume/item swaps in the mod resources thread and full mods straight to huchi001 (kidding).

Tried to remove stockings and just add thigh strap (failed). Tried to add belt(failed).

Was also going to make a Leona Heidern (KOF) mod too but decided that Mila's costume was close enough anyway, so just made a hair/face mod for that costume:

Thanks. My mod making is winding down now. Running out of ideas and slots.
I do hope for new ideas as dlc gets released but the last few have been very disappointing.
I did try to make a mystique (x-men) mod for Christie and the face looks good but I can't figure out how to do her body. I'll post a wip pic later.
