I just...still feel iffy about this one (looks like he's ready to go horseback riding). Maybe it'll grow on me especially when I see it during fights. But glad that TN gives him the attention and has been including him in a lot of DLC packs so I won't complain. lol

Edit: Also will this be the first Hitomi outfit where her ponytail is the default hairstyle or have there been others?

I wonder if the guys would get steampunk suits. Jacky and Eliot were dressed in some Tommy Hilfiger Winter Collection while Akira and Hayate ended up with some stupid blue bed sheets kimonos

But emo is a very lax and generic thing which raised up over the last 10 years and it's not associated with anything in particular other than the usual high emotivity, sensitivity and what is generally perceived as feelings for selfinjury, selfdestruction etc. We all know the stereotypes, but it's very very blurry and generic.

Goth is a much wider, older and at the same type specific phenomenon. It's been around longer, it's not a result of momentary trends and is associated with very specific things, settings, dresscodes and music.
While there are over 9000 subtypes of "Goth" and in itself it's a very wide thing, it's also very clear and not particularly blurry. It's not the result of an internet trend.

I'm a goth myself, or rather I'm what other people would perceive as a goth, and while there are some distinctive personality trait, goth has little or nothing to do with Emos and all that other stuff.

I'm not sure if we can define emo a branch of goth. Eventually it might? I still think it's a bit too early to say, honestly.
But yeah, I agree with you it's not that important at all in the end, of course.

I'm with Fork about Leon's outfit. I expect that he'll be getting his red coat from DOA2. I could see his racist guido outfit as a possibility as well, but I'd imagine that TN is aware of the demand for the red coat.

Don't be ridiculous. Leon's Dante costume is my favorite of his outfits and if there's one thing history has proven it's that TN will do anything in their power not to make my favorite outfits for my favorite characters, regardless how overwhelmingly high the demand is for them.

I assume that the lack of maskless Hayabusa is due to TN having some strange new desire to hide his face from now on, rather than to deny fans the outfit.

All the characters in casual/winter apparel tends to look a tad bit better (Mila rocks this DLC set).

I'm expecting these from the others:

Kimono: Ryu, Brad, Gen Fu
Steampunk: Rachel, Tina, Leifang, Lisa, Ein, Rig, Zack
Casual/Winter: Christie, Helena, Kasumi, Kokoro, Leon, Bayman, Bass

Well the ones who asked for Christie's DOA4 dominatrix suit got granted after gazillion requests that I seen on their FB fanpage. I guess even those who wanted Hitomi's denim jacket and Kasumi's ninja princess outfit got their wishes granted too.

But the people who wants Helena's top priority dresses - DOA2 white opera dress, DOA4 greek goddess dress and DOAD party dress - never got any of them granted. :/
