Okay, so i'm holding a small tournament today and i was wondering what are the general rules? I'm replying here cause this is the most checked thing

All i know is 3 rounds, don't recall the health setting
Dojo is banned and i'm banning leon/home

anyone else care to tell me anything like time setting or anything else? It's going to be starting at 5 so the sooner the better

The proper tournaments settings are:

Health : Normal
Round Time Limit: 60 seconds
First to: 3 rounds
Dojo banned
Leon on Home is legal.

I'm going to tell you a little story.

Yesterday evening, I was taking my shower (like everyday, nothing exceptional here, lol). Then I thought about something (like everyday, nothing exceptional here neither, lol).
I was thinking about the next new characters pack. Why the hell has Team Ninja decided to make a pack in 6 months, including Marie-Rose, whereas they had started to sell her alone? Why do they want us to wait and not allow us to buy each new character separately?
Six months. Hum. The end of summer. The TGS. Between the E3 and The TGS.
And suddenly, thinking of DOA in my shower, something happened. No, not that.
I saw an announcement, "DOA5UA on PS4 and/or XBOX one, with all the new characters". People were screaming. "What!? We bought the game DOA5U 40$, and if we buy the 5 new characters, each one 6$, it will be more expensive that buying the new game!" and Team Ninja told "Don't worry, we made a special pack with them. It is cheaper."

Everything was clear. Except the fact that I didn't know what part of my body was already clean, and I had to start all over again.

@legibifou Yeah, that's what quite a few of us have been thinking, at least for PS4.

I just hope nothing in this game is exclusive to any console, let alone next gen ones.

Was it said that there are 5 new characters (Marie and P4 included) coming in 6 months with the discount or were you following a pattern of 5s like how Vanilla 5 revealed Rig, Mila, Akira, Sarah, Pai and 5U with Ein, Leon, Jacky, Momiji and Rachel?

No, Indeed. The tweets just mentioned that:

"We will make "New Characters" set release with better value price to the #DOA5U, once after all new Fighters joins the roster of #DOA5UA."
"Unfortunately it will take at least 6 month until such bundle hit the #DOA5U . So anybody who wants to wait, plz wait. Sorry about that."
"First we planed all such new characters to join the #DOA5U at once, but we decided to live up to fan's voice who want Fight with them ASAP."
