Ya know I have two theories on why Hayabusa looks so much older than what he should do;
1. Those wrinkles are caused by wearing his mask too much xD kinda like how wearing glasses all the time leaves prints on the nose and stuff
2. Since NG3 takes place between DOA4 and DOA5 it could be an after effect of The Grip of Murder, since we never actually truely see his face until AFTER he's been cursed.
It's very possible the screams of the tortured souls from the Dragon Sword may haven taken a permanent toll on Hayabusa and filled him with stress, also Hayabusa seems to make a small reference to this during his chat with Lisa in Tokyo.

I like his new face, too. He's been through a lot and it truly shows, I think they did a good job. Just imagine if he finally got a new outfit without his mask and they patched in the ability to toggle it in all of his outfits. *skips off to dream land*
I think it's a Japanese thing you see the same type of lines on Itachis face
Wearing a mask would hide your face from the sun and make your skin look more youthful.
Except that he looks all jacked like that in NG3 before the grip of murder.
