There are enough differences in these costumes to distinguish during gameplay though.
but you're right, knowing TN they probably took the lazy route.

You would think but yeah...wouldn't put it past them given their track record making separate costumes that could have easily been add/remove items:

This that shit I be talking about.

There is an high chance that the Casual DLC pack volume 3 will not be released this Tuesday, because TN already plan to release the Warriors Orochi pack. However I'm sure that we will get it the following week.

It's not really volume, it's quality

Well, I talked about the quantity because it's an objective factor on the opposite of the quality; for example personally I haven't problems with the selection of outfits for Ryu, if not for the absence of his classic throwback and original (or never appeared before in DoA) ninja outfits. Anyway I understood what you mean.

That is bad...I agree though, those types of things should be customization rather than separate costume slots...On that same note, I hope DOA considers going full-on customization in DOA 6...It is a far better option, rather than the approach they are taking with the costume packs....Where the outfits you get can be hit or miss...

Why disallow people from creating their own designs? If it's the fact that they want to capitalize off this costume pack system, then they can still release costume item packs for building new outfits and still make money off of those in a customization system.

I suppose I'm a little spoiled with customization, as I come from VF, where we have a full-on customization system...Full of possibilities for people to express their creative abilities, or recreate anime/manga, game, movie characters, famous personas, etc..

Here's a look at what I mean:

Intro to the system using Sarah:

Some Akira stuff:

A look at all the awesome wrestling legends and whatnot that can be created with Wolf!:

Art of Fighting, Power Rangers Time Force, Vocaloid References:

They should just X-Copy it from VF...Take out the point limitation, and the character-specific items though...Make them either Male or Female-based.

It's a two-way street though. On one hand it allows more individualized outfits and adds some replay value (since customization is a separate mode).

However if Tekken has taught me anything it's that quality plummets when the quantity of customization outfits/items increase. However Tekken also never charged for outfits so...idk where I stand on this. lol XD

honestly i found lorieli to be pretty dam boring i don't see the reason everyone likes it so much

i refuse to see Bayman or Ryu dressed by retarded trolls which is exactly what would happen. i say no to full customization
