If you don't want Tengu, why not go back and play DOA3 if/when we get him in 5U?

She's a boss character and a veteran. Why not? She deserves love too. She'll just use Kasumi's outdated move set sans all the teleporting business.
I have a hunch your main reason why you want her instead is because she's an "easy peasy" boss since she has a simpler inputs that can be read as oppose to the present Kasumi and doesn't have projectiles. Is that it?
P.S. She can still do teleports in Dimensions.
• I checked the costume count for all the guys, most have 11-12. Jann Lee doesn't have 14-15 costumes. He only got 11. Your statement is false.
• The Yaiba promotional DLCs are only for Momiji and Ryu.
• Vanilla 5/+ contents eventually gets carried over to 5U, so literally there are still 9 all-girl DLCs.
• Apart from Mila getting her bunny swimsuit separately in Vanilla 5, Momiji and Rachel not getting bunnies/reverse bunnies and the racing half of the Ultimate Sexy DLC, there was barely an occasion that a swimsuit DLC which featured Kasumi meant that the other girls won't get one. It's understandable for Pai and Sarah's case as they are just guests to this game. (Thus why they never got bunnies/reverse bunnies/cheerleaders/idols)
Majority of the girls have costumes skyrocketing almost near 30 while the guys barely made it half-way above or equal to at least 15-20. How do you expect me to lighten up? I had to enjoy just 1 male swimsuit pack in the disguise of an MMA outfit while TN has been very generous to you for giving 5.5-6 (now becoming 7) swimsuits + 3 on-disc swimsuits. Where's the equality there?
I main a female and use some of them but I also play a handful of males and want more costumes for them.

Well luckily, Tengu will never be in DOA5U.
If anything, Raidou needs to make a comeback. A mimic character is exactly what DOA5U needs. Sadly, he's dead in the main story, so I'm not surprised that he's not in the game. Same reason why Tengu and Genra aren't in the game either.

Kasumi Alpha couldn't return either as she undergo a permanent transformation to become the living booger that you see today called "Alpha-152".
Phase 4 Alpha-152 is now the new mimic.

Tengu and another female character would be great. Idk what's the problem with him coming back, He was kinda fun plus he had an original movesets and lots of people loved him. And as for a new female, an agent who uses Krav Maga,Savate,Judo,or Jujitsu and looks like this would be great

@Jyakotu: Like I've already said more times, the main reason because Tengu should return in DoA before any other character (old, new, from NG or guest star) is because owning a fighting style and moveset absent in the game.
The absence of Raidou, Genra, Shiden, Kasumi Alpha don't affect this aspect of the game, but the lack of Tengu yes. I don't say that the game is necessarily not good without him (see for example DoA3), but without doubt I consider it a cons. If I have a fighting game with the possibility to add more characters for it, doesnt' seem to me so crazy to think to complete it adding before of all all the styles included in the past games and then to think to new additions. Sure, it's not the only route that it's possible to follow, but neither seems to me an illogical one.
You can be sure that if Rachel wasn't in the game (or with a completely different moveset), now I would ask for Tengu AND Genra for the same reason: in DoA Dimensions Genra ended to inherit part of Spartan's moveset and without Rachel the game would be lacking of that "portion" of DoA4.
Everyone has their own tastes and preferences, I'm not discussing your dislike for Tengu, neither I think that you should like him if this isn't what you feel for the character. But if TN has to include a character from the past, without doubts the first on the list should be Tengu. Rather would be more logical (I said "logical", not "right" or "better") to ask for completely new characters.
Honestly I thought me too to a similar hypothesis, but actually all depends exactly where TN would put the slot of an eventual next character: if for example it was put under the column where is placed Alpha-152, the symmetry would be intact also with just an addition.
However I agree with you that with 2 additional characters one of them would be surely a female... and in that case I want Tengu & Irene!

Actually, I was thinking that if Irene make an appearance in DOA6, she would have to use Krav Maga, I believe that CIA agents receive this kind of training, along with others similar fighting styles.

The reason I ask for Genra as well as Tengu is that his playstyle is completely different from both spartan and rachel, he focuses on spacing with lightning, and his throw loops. Now of course Tengu is completely unique and should come first, but Genra isn't just some clone.

There is a reason why Tengu shouldn't be in this game. We already have a boss character, Alpha-152. Each game should be limited to one boss character per game. DOAD is a different case because it was basically a retelling of the 4 games in the main series, so of course it made sense to have all the bosses playable + Alpha-152, who became playable in that game.
See, Ein is completely different from Hayate and even Hitomi. His face even looks slightly different from Hayate as well. Leon has different style from Bayman, so it made sense to include him. But Tengu? Nah, he doesn't need to be there. Like I said, he wouldn't fit in with that TN is trying to do with the series. If anything, Donovan needs to be a playable character instead. Tengu has passed his prime.
