Plus, with hindsight, the mask really doesnt go with the bikini at all. Wish they could've altered it a bit somehow.

yeah i dont really care too much for the lisa persona either. It doesnt even fit imo; she's this serious, condescending bitch lady thats a scientist--then acts all goofy and charismatic when she goes into wrestling form.
i'd prefer if her lisa persona was more meek and bumbling tbh, then she becomes this fierce flying bitch when she's la mariposa. Ah well.
La Mariposa just doesn't make sense anymore. That part of her persona doesn't even show up in the story. That's probably why Lisa has gotten more costumes than La Mariposa.

GAWD, I'm so disappointed. After really falling in love with this game, trying to learn it and trying to legitimize it in the eyes of friends, it now has a PAID DLC softcore porn add-on. Great. That's exactly what this thing needed.........
With the amount of momentum this game has gained in the last year, and finally getting some FGC recognition, this seems like the worst possible time to pull this stunt. Sure, because of the limelight, it might sell more, but you are jeopardizing the viability of your business by portraying your product in the worst possible light.
I have to believe they can have both, a competitive fighter and what I can only assume is a magnet for the money of the ill-advised. But gosh, work on your timing. Think about how this makes the game look, not only about how much money it puts in your damn pockets... Let alone the trailer which thumbnails to Rachel's pretty much naked ass stamped on the screen.
How are people not already "in to know" supposed to take this game "seriously"? How are they supposed to know that beneath all the flare there is actually a fantastic game? How are they supposed to understand that there is more to this than tits and ass when you insist so damn much on showing almost nothing BUT tits and ass?
Who the fuck pays for gravure movies anyway!? You have internet connection to pay and download such things but don't know Youtube!? Just... WHY? ...This is just so frustrating.
You know, bikini DLC is fine. I hope it sells a lot and the profit can be turned into more quality costumes. I even think these bikinis themselves would mostly qualify as quality products. Rachel's is stunning and the only one I'm actively considering buying (obviously biased opinion).

@Jyakotu: Lisa started off as DOAX's official tour guide but her debut as a fighter was when she initially became Lamar and if her persona didn't show up in the story, wouldn't Helena have confronted her in the Tritower Heliport in 4 wearing her Lisa costumes rather than her Lamar ones?

Seriously, I love you for that post. And this has been in my mind for a while now as well. I also still don't understand why the designers can't keep their original vision they once had for DOA5 at least a bit (less sexualized theming). I also agree that you can make both sides happy without really hurting this games reputation even more. And tbh, this Paradise viewer thing wasn't really needed...not even in the slightest.

Xbox and Team ninja baffle me. So I didn't download a patch or get a catalog to see the swimsuits. But I cannot see or find the paradise menu. So I go to the market place and check, I come across the costume catalog (#9 ). Says I need the 1.04 patch to see it which to my knowledge isn't on xbox.
So I'm downloading it to see if my game will break.

The costumes work fine, but you need 1.04 to use everything else though.

So they messed up it appears given ps3 has the patch and we don't. I wish I knew where it went wrong. Also I could see the swimsuits without the patch which means they were on disc?
