Thirst is when you're horny for someone. For example

"Omfg I wish Kasumi was real I'm gonna go dry hump my Kasumi body pillow"
"Your thirst for a fictional character is a little unhealthy"

If you're looking for a casual costume, the most probable answers for you are Kasumi's C23 and C26. They look good I guess. They have that very modern appeal. Her C10 overalls is also very casual and it's nice to see Kasumi wear something conservative and something with pants on. I even like her C6 Sunday dress and straw hat even if a lot doesn't like how it looks lol.

I would like it if she gets Kasumi Alpha's default costume, preferably the original DOA2 version with the puff sleeves.

C6 is the outfit i use the most with the casual DLC one ^^. I think Kasumi use her full beauty potential when she wear a dress, and the straw hat really add some value (remind me the introduction of "L'education sentimental", i don't know why ^^)
On an other hand i don't like her "intimate" outfit, the street style don't look good on her (just my personal taste)

For my tastes Kasumi has one of the best vestiaries between the female characters...
Well, i agree, but there is few outfits i really love like her C6/8/9/13 and the casual vol2 one, while there is a lots i find just average.

But while i would love to see kasumi getting more outfit that match my tastes, i would also love that the male get more outfit. The males characters are the true victimes in the DLC history XD

@Jyakotu (i'm referring to your post on page 517)

Well, DOA is hated about it's "huge amount of sex appeal" that feminist can judge as "disrespectful" toward womankind (even if the main hate come from ignorants). I can understand this point of view.
To that i can answer :

-Firstly, it's a fighting game. In this kind of game, there is always a lots of sexualisation of the characters. Men tend to be ripped like hell and aggressive looking (#testosterone) and women more appealing. It's all due to the fighting and the need of visible hormonal excess needed to make it coherent.

-Secondly, as i said earlier, in fighting game, we have most of the time shirtless sexy men fighting. And it's damn stereotyped ! It's also fan-service and it's helping identification for the boys AND give some exiting-service for girls (and for some boys). There is never anybody bitching about guys being bodybuilder, but when it come to woman sex appeal... It's a sensitive topics.
My point is that while a women act slutty in underwear to make you buy perfume, you can feel revolted because it's not justified and unfair. But in a fighting game sexualisation is kind of justified and apply to both gender.

-Thirdly, you can consider that the fan service is the main point in DOA, which make you an ignorant. Of course it's a bit too much sometime, but arguing that DOA can't be taken seriously due to the fan service is either stupidity or ignorance.

All the hate about DOA is unjustified, whatever your argument is. All fighting games does nearly the same things. DOA just always did it more shamelessly.

There are something called aesthetics in any game. If a game appear to be nicely done, characters are nicely modeled, stages and ect. they sell. Since you're going to be using a character there going to put as much detail into them to make it as nice as they can so their product will sell. Some characters will use sex appeal but usually it's very few. Ivy is the predominate one is the soul calibur series, Anna in tekken, Juri in street fighter and ect. The point is, It's not every character. It those ones specifically. If you choose to edit them in soul calibur/tekken to be sexy looking that's your business and it's one of the programmers that made you pay for it. See where i'm going?

Fan service:
Fan service, fanservice, or service cut, is a term originating from anime and manga fandom for material in a series which is intentionally added to please the audience. It is about "servicing" the fan - giving the fans "exactly what they want"

Did a whole bunch of people wanted sports dlcs? check.
Did someone want legacy costumes, especially helena's goddess costume? Check.
Faceless hayabusa? Check.
I read earlier about leon's guido costume or something or other? Check.
Male swimsuit pack? Check.
Now did people want all those bikinis? Survey says yes.

You can argue as much as you want but there's an amount of sexualization and they crossed the line on the 4th bikini pack.

You are right, i did not use the term Fan service properly. The fact is i lack a bit of vocabulary and grammar in english ^^.
But i don't really see what you mean on your first paragraph, could you clarify it ? :)

What i wanted to say is that DOA being hated because of it's "sexyness" was not right and not objective. Now if you refer to this last DLC we had, i agree that it might be going a bit too far.
Now to say they crossed a line no one should cross, what referential are you using ?
With customization like in SC, you can do far worst, and even if in this case it's up to you.
Take DOAX, they also did worst than this DLC.

I'm not trying to defend it. I too did not loved the fact they added paradise feature to the game, it's tarnishing even more its image IMO.
Again, my point is that bitching on DOA because of it's bikini was unfair, and kinda hypocrite when it come from other fighting game fans. You can dislike a game when you can't stand it's mechanics, but hating it 'cause of it's visual aspect is not right.

It's all good, english is really hard language.

First paragraph: It's okay to make characters look attractive because it also makes the game look nicer. Normally there is one or two characters per game who use sex appeal. Attractiveness sells because it adds on to the nice graphics.

I'm not referring to them as crossing a line that nobody should cross. I'm just saying that they past the line into perversion at this point. 7 bikini dlcs are pointless no matter how nice they are. Also the fact that if you put on doa mode in doa their breasts look like their alive. I had quite a few people actually say to me they couldn't play the game because of lack of shirts/too many breasts or that the giggle motion seemed wierd. This actually turns people off of the fact that it's a fighting game and it seems like their catering to fetishes.

Okay, thank you for making it clear ^^ (english is easy in comparaison to French, but i still lack practice XD).

I only like C6 for the straw hat and the shoes. Some people dislikes the dress for looking baggy (especially the top part) and the ribbon sash for being placed way too high up below her breast instead of being placed down to where her waist is. The casual DLC (C26) on the other hand looks passable but I'm not entirely crazy about it. Kasumi's Intimate DLC (C23) seems alright, just not fond of the straps. It has the same arm accessories with her C9 by the way.

For me, C10 overalls is still the best casual costume for not flashing around her panties.

Hahaha !
Well, in my case i love when she flash her panties all the time XD !
I don't have the feeling of playing Kasumi if there isn't any pantyshots, it's her signature ^^.

It's strange you mention her C10, it's the perfect example of outfit she have that i don't like. Overalls with a sleeveless shirt... and fancy shoes...Urg...
The association is bad, the color is bad (don't match her) and overalls for girls look really, really unlcassy.
I don't know why but TN love to make borderline association on the verge of absolute tastelessness, and her C10 is a good exemple...

I'm canadian and i'm still trying to study french. The grammar is a nightmare.
You are courageous to try... Even native French like me have problem with the grammar and conjugaison of our own language. The gender of objects... just that is already horrible for non native XD

I don't think pantyshots is her or any of the other girls' signature because every girl happens to have an outfit with skirts or dresses in 5U. It's a generic trait every girl possesses (Even Christie who has never worn a skirt during DOA3-Dimensions has skirts and dresses now in 5/5U). If anything, Kasumi's true signature is cherry blossoms.

Not everyone wants their characters flashing around in panties. Some likes conservative clothing underneath for bottoms like jeans (Hitomi's C1), pants (Helena's C3) or shorts (Tina's C2) and since C10 is the only casual costume she had with pants on, I find it more presentable. I don't think the outfit itself is a hopeless case. I'd change the shoes into brown and remove the wristbands. Everything else looks fine.

i'm still so torn by Mila's new outfit.

on the one hand. The jacket with the hood up is fucking awesome.

on the other hand, the string bikini is fucking disgusting. (not because of womens rights or anything. Just because it doesn't suit tomboyish, down to earth Mila. that kinda slutty swimsuit would be fine for Christie or Lisa or Tina)

I want that jacket on her like, C2 or the diner outfit. Yaknow, just the jeans and tshirt plus jacket.

Or better yet, her "sports bra and sweatpants" outfit with that jacket. Yum.
