The DOA5U "Casual" thread. ^__^

Just putting this out there:

Kasumi: Runaway ninja, ex-Mugen Tenshin leader, technical pacifist. When serious, kills Raidou (with assist, by DOAD canon), kills P4A152 after copying Ayane, 'Busa, and Hayate. Currently 3-1 against Ayane.

Ayane: Head of the Hajin-mon. Has multiple demon body count in NG, defeated Genra and the Kasumi clone with Hayate (Genra with the 'Busassist in DOAD). Has defeated Kasumi once.

Momiji: Dragon Shrine Maiden, occasionally takes up arms, trained by Hayabusa, personally defeated 2 tengu. No canonical DOA record.

Frankly, Momiji's out of her league. Kasumi and Ayane have devoted their lives to fighting and spend most of their time in combat. Momiji is a student of Ryu, but she's a miko first and foremost.

That said, some interaction with Momiji and Rachel would be interesting.

Hayabusa is a friend of Hayate so therefore, since they're leader's/top notch ninjas of their brand, they support one another in duties & fights. Then of course, you know why Hayabusa always helps Kasumi, (which I don't get now since he threw it up in his face before they fought but still supports her & shows her better love than him & Ayane both combined.)

Hayabusa just said that to rile Hayate up, showing him that he was not in control of his emotions like a true ninja needs to be. Hayabusa is able to murder fellow ninjas from allied clans in mere training exercises because he can detach from his emotions.
It is this emotional distance that allows him to fulfill his ninja duties, despite personal feelings. When Kasumi wants to impulsively go after Hayate and DOATEC, Hayabusa restrains himself to attempt a logical approach, and berates Kasumi's impulsiveness. Hayabusa is friends with all the other ninja, but he also knows that duty can come into conflict with personal desires.

"Remember that the way of the shinobi is a harsh one!" -Hayabusa to Kasumi, DOA2

Hayate's duty is to kill the traitor to his village. Hayabusa is not bound by such duty, and thus is able to help Kasumi, recognizing that Hayate cannot. "I promised Hayate I cannot let you die, but I cannot let you go."

Why would she bring a camcorder with her to the gym anyway

Actually I think that very simply that she use the camera for recording her while she train or fight on the gym. After to have used the cam for it, she left it on the dressing room forgetting to put off it.

Of course the scene want blink an eye to sexual thoughts (just like other things in the plot) as the recording of other female changing them and so the possibility for Mila for being interested to such things - overall considering that the previous scene showned her making a shower in the dressing room).

But of course everything of it is far from being canon.

I was asking: these pics are numbered just for fun, or there is really a place where it's possible to find a such great number of DoA fans' awesomeness? XD

Anyway, to stay on topic, I will say that I think the end girl is not Kasumi Alpha. I'm waiting for TN's troll face once they really reveal who she is and stops being vague with all the "the girl in the ending" crap.

I agree with you and I think that you are on something: first of all Kasumi Alpha is dead, being Alpha-152, in second place why to create a clone of Kasumi hiding his face? Very likely we will end to discover that this isn't the usual clone and so that her face is different from Kasumi.

Judging by the screenshots posted by @Seppu (taken from a modded DoA5 where the textures of the cloaked girl were switched on Kasumi) I think that in the end we will realize that the cloaked girl is a clone of Ayane or a being with a mixed DNA between the two sisters (of course in the eventuality that this model will not be changed when the proper real character will be released in DoA5U).

EDIT:
On DOAWorld @Kodachi made a valid objection, maybe the model used an Ayane's model just for avoiding the clipping of Kasumi's hair with the cloak. This could be easily right, so until now the only real picture that we have of her remain her display in the ending of the DoA5 story.

Well, he's got some out-of-character moments in NG3 as well. I'd like to attribute that to the curse, but in all honesty, it was just shitty writing.

its not so much that Ryu doesn't act on emotion as he believes ninjas shouldn't. its been flat out stated that Ryu also went to Vigoor for revenge as well as to retrieve the Dark Dragon Blade.

I wanted to go into a thing but I'll just leave these instead. Though 2 of them are pretty old so take them with a grain of salt, One was posted recently for a combo contest I won. I didn't upload the older ones to FSD because I was afraid. But I want to defend Tina, she is the Female Boss to me.

a) see, I love tina in those outfits. Awesome. (I do like her silver and black, but that's mostly because I like loose bits like the tassles, and silver is my favorite color). Hence why I like her silver and blue version of that red jacket.

And yeah, good tinas can be a massive, massive pain in the ass to fight.

b) MGR Soundtrack with DOA? HELLZ FUGGEN YEAH!

So, I decided to go ahead & open up a can of worms with this one:
Kasumi vs Ayane vs Momiji.

I think it should happen somewhere down the lines. This should be a triple threat rivalry. It may not be now, but in the future, it should. Now I know that some will be like "Oh why should Momiji be a rival to them both? She has no purpose", but the fact is she does have one & can rival them in the storylines as a ninja from the Busa village. TN can throw in a curve for it to happen. Then some of you are like "Kasumi & Ayane shouldn't fight". lol Yes, they should. They don't have to "hate" each other now since the storylines are changing tides (just like Momiji doesn't have to hate them), but they have to fight each other. They're destined to fight each other, if you don't realize that by now, then you need to. You can't have a good action-packed game without a rivalry. Look at Ryu & Ken from SF. They're friends but also rivals. Sonic, Silver, & Shadow, same thing. Heck even Ryu & Hayate are rivals but great friends.

I say let the female ninjas duke it out! And no I'm not talking about looks or anything like that -__-

um...i'm gonna hafta say no. Momiji is just Ryu's apprentice, no real rivalry or even connection with Ayane or Kasumi, whose rivalry stems from deep rooted personal history. Momiji is just...there. Like Tengu. Just kinda there for the helluvit.

Hayate is in no way a rival to Ryu lol. Hell, he's not even a rival to Kasumi. I doubt he'd even make one for Ayane.

On the small chance she wants her fights recorded with someone of notoriety, mainly Bass (her inspiration) or Tina (the offspring of her inspiration).


Because people like me feel the most comfortable actually being myself.

The ending fucked me up so bad man I'm still recovering. But yeah, that ending... it's confusing at first but once you look into it a little and find out what the fuck even happened it all makes sense little by little.
