DOA being a Japanese game and me being an anime addict (not of Angel Beats though! XD) and considering they are going with Eliot for the sweet, naive and brotherly type and with Marie for the insecure, bratty lolita type, I can imagine, that they really might give those two a special connection in the game. It almost begs for it. Marie, out of all the girls (who are basically just messing with Eliot), really takes a liking to him and on several occasion flirts with him or just wants his approval for being an equal partner in a fight (just like Eliot is with Ayane). He does not get it though and gently pats her head instead: "Yosh, yosh, it's alright! :3" and treats her like his little sister, which in contrast always annoys the sh*t out of Marie.
That's just pure speculation though and I won't start obsessing about it, annoying you guys all the time...oh well, let's see.

i cant really see Eliot disrespecting an opponent like that regardless of age.

Exactly!Lol well @Argentus knows that I am very blunt with him usually, it's just that with this specific case I understand how he feels. When MR was first announced and her pic was revealed I wanted her to be Eliot's younger sister and I thought it would be cool to see what their tag throw, interactions, etc... would be like. But that's based off of absolutely no evidence and the more we learn about her (same age but different bday than Eliot, born in Sweden, etc..) the chances of them being related are basically 0% (and I doubt they'll even interact in the story). So that's why I at least hear Argentus out b/c I too have a dream...

Right, not an opponent...but I could see him praising Marie Rose as his tag partner as he would praise his little sister. He probably genuinely thinks, she's a child. That's at least a trope very often found in anime/manga. Team Ninja might go for this, as they quite often follow anime/manga tropes, which obviously resonate well with the Japanese audience. But it's just a guess...something I'd find really sweet and ironical though, since Eliot is always looking for recognition as a man by Ayane, Christie...
By the way...do you guys think or know, if Marie Rose has any special tag intros/victories with any of the other characters? I haven't heard about any in the arcade version so far. Adding her to the cast and charging quite a bit for her, I think they should've thought about that as well.

Ideally, yes, I would like tweaks.
In reality, "tweaks" from TN involve nerfing low tier characters and buffing high tier charatcers topped off with some arbitrary, useless BS.
And I don't want any more of that shit.

I don't mind tweaks. Just stop fucking nerfing and buff some more of the lower tier so they can hold their own ground. Sick and tired of some of TN's questionable changes.

What I don't like about these rather frequent minor tweaks is that they cause the character guides/combo videos to be obsolete.
I really wish 1.05 to be the final balance tweak, and a meaningful one at that. Not 1.04 which was quite meaningless.
