Don't really mind. She'd most likely be a light weight because of her slim body. As long as she has actual personality that people can enjoy.

For the record I wouldn't mind a new female counterpart to Genra/Raidou/whatever missing niche character is at the bottom of barrel if it means they largely retain their move-set because putting aside mild nitpicking over aesthetic direction, that is still more characters added into the game at the end of the day which is much better then the harsh alternative of not being added at all.

More new characters is a good thing for this series as a whole (especially with the lackluster roster selection of vanilla), but maybe that is my fault for always looking at the big picture. I'm not saying you can't be disappointed (how do you think I felt that Ein wasn't included in vanilla DoA 5 despite him being in every past DoA fighter since his debut?), but a few of you who I won't name handled this pretty poorly and commenced with a tantrum. As if the tantrum would magically deliver you your desired outcome. I'll just chalk that up as another case of emotion overwhelming rational thought. In any case all this means to me is another character for me to karate chop male or female.

Her canon is tied to halo. I want a canon that is tied to DOA. A new Nicole that fits in like what they did for tengu.

The gameplay is irrelevant in that I'm imagining a new but appropriate move set like what happened with Leon rather than rehashing old moves back from Rachel and Batman.

I want Nicole. Same character but revised back story.

I'm not on a high horse, I was just letting you know. It's not smart to piss on the parade of others and not even spell your attacking words correctly. I think people just enjoy the design, it is DOA after all. You're on a bandwagon yourself, and that bandwagon is the bandwagon of crapping on all of the fun. I won't be joining you.

People can choose to main who they like, and this is typical behavior due to hype. Will it slim down after a couple weeks of her being out? Probably, but that goes with all characters. People tend to change their minds after exploring or become bored.

But take a good look at the messages before you assume only Codemaster and Penguin are talking about gameplay. Everything you said was said by someone else, so please stop pointlessly begging for attention.

they are just mildly upset that most of the people that didn't care about Tengu, care about Tengu lady.. Which I can understand where they are coming from. Obviously they share some of the same moves, so it's odd that some people like her for her moveset, and aesthetics.

There was nothing wrong with Tengu's move set, it was his arrogant ego and appearance that may have steered people away from him. A select few actually liked him.
Nyo-Tengu is made for the fans. I see a lot of the fans Ideas in this character as if TN has been lurking the forums (which is very possible). even @Project Bokuho 's Gif of the woman licking her lips could have been inspiration for her win pose. XD
