You probably don't need to worry much about fighting styles since some characters don't really look so faithful to their real life counterparts (i.e. Marie's Systema having acrobatic movements, Zack doing a Blanka Roll, etc.)

A Character Contest would be Huge :)
But first i want that ALL Costumes we Fans made to come true as DLC :)
All the Requests ..STAGES COLOR OPTIONS and More MALE CHARCATER COSTUMES + more Winning and Entry Poses and Interludes between the Fighters to come true :)

And of course a Tournament Mode to unlock Stuff and Titles and Costumes :)

DmC Dante is a bitch lol so is Vergil.

DMC1 Dante is the classiest, swaggiest, badass Dante ever made.

Eh, DMC1 Dante isn't as flashy and overthetop as DMC3 and 4 Dante...and I liked him the best because of that. He was smug, but knew when to get serious and put up and not go over the top with it(DMC Dante does get serious at the end, but by then, I didn't really like that version and while DMC4 Dante isn't AS bad, I didn't like they went with DMC3 Dante rather than a mix of them.)

You are not the only person. I have held CB's and not had the holds go through at least 100-150 times. Against Akira or Sarah especially I can never ever ever hold the CB's. I parry a lot too and those go through about 50% of the time when correct.

♥ Chappy, the stupid thing I notice is I get high counter holds from wake up kicks no problem. I mean like late last frame BS but when I'm combo'd.....Nope.... not early late or even low to escape the launcher. Mean while it appears I can be countered just fine to the point humiliation even.
