When Eliot finally hits the top of the boat, he's going to jump right back to him. *Predicted words when Eliot finally hits appreciation*

*Eliot gets this massive buff*

Jyakotu: Well guys..it's time for me to drop Ayane and go back to my real main character, Eliot. :) Sometimes...you just have to move on :) Right guys?"

I think he'll mix in a little bit of the Tengu thing when she turned out female too, "I was kidding you guys, did you really think I would drop Eliot just like that"

I left you all with one directive. One very simple, straightforward, easy objective.

And you failed. You failed miserably.

As an aside: Saying "I don't care about the mods" doesn't make you seem like a badass nor does it lend any credibility to your argument or serve as some sort of tribute to the willpower of your opinion. The only purpose it serves is letting the mods know "Hey, this is a person who has declared they are unwilling to listen to peacekeeping efforts intended to diffuse a contentious situation." This basically equates to: "We will be forced to make them behave civilly, as they will not do so on their own volition." It makes you look stupid, not cool. Consider yourself educated.

Now, to continue on my explanation of what should be common sense, the primary thing that I am moderating and the primary problem we are having in this thread is flaming other members. Everyone has strong, passionate positions about what goes on regarding the game because it's a game they love and they want it to live up to what they view as its full potential. Some choices and decisions will be popular, others won't. Try to keep your emotions in check, but I realize that not everyone is perfect and there are going to be combative statements and opinions. But what absolutely will not be tolerated is the flaming of other members.

If you see someone flaming, don't fan the flames. Report them. This isn't some mobster movie where "snitching" is uncool and you get man-points for asserting your opinion publicly by acting like a child on the playground. The report button is there. If someone is flaming, that's when you use it. By feeding into it you're not only making the situation worse, but you are also engaging in their behavior and as such are susceptible to the same sanctions.

I prefer not to intervene if I feel like it's not necessary. I prefer to talk people down before I just go silencing everyone with deleted posts, and I view handing out warnings (and especially bans) as a last-resort measure. But, recent events have proved that unless more active moderation occurs, this thread will decline until it is locked and a fair portion of its "contributors" are banned. I don't want that to happen, so I'm going to start moderating this thread a lot more strictly and decisively.

Think before you post or you will lose your ability to post at all.
