Kasumi has a 7f throw that guarantees her 70+ dmg, dunno if that qualifies. I'd say her H+K but they keep nerfing it.

I will admit...as much as I like Akira. That shoulder body check ram does a shit ton of damage on CH close hit. I do feel a bit uneasy with it. Even though it's hella unsafe on block...the chances of scoring that on a person hitting buttons and timing it on reading knowledgeable strings is pretty high. I'd probably reduce that to 76-80 instead of 90. So just imagine upon waking up > Opponent might believe it's a WUK > Slight dash cancel with early buffer of 466P+K > Boom. GGs. It's i17 but the move looks like a fucking missile.
EDIT: Since Akira isn't really top tier, that particular nerf isn't really necessary. But if I had to pick a nerf..it would be that one. Compared to characters like Gen Fu and Christie why would this man need nerfs to begin with? Some people need to remember that he's an execution character. Complex buttons for Rewards. If you fuck up with Akira on combos that is entirely your fault. You could get one knee but you drop the other two knees and he'll lose that combo string and get reduced damage. 214P+K is his only potent tracking mid and Christie can avoid that with just a push of a button.

Actually, that is the exact move I had in mind regarding Akira (I shit you not).
Well, yeah. Thing is, a move can be stupidly imbalanced even if the character is not top tier. Hell, even Hayabusa has a stupidly OP move but even with it, there's no way in hell he's a top tier character. But, that doesn't change the fact that the move itself was designed by a developer with a degree in Derpology. Even in light of his other weaknesses, the move is still intrinsically derpy simply because no single move should function in that way.
These are the types of tools I'm looking at/for.
Reminds me of one of my old, old videos where I basically killed someone in three holds.
But while ridiculously high, I still wouldn't call her hold damage "broken," for various reasons.

Oh yeah indeed. It's pretty debatable since Akira was ordinarily always like that. That shoulder damage been around since VF3 damage. But this is DOA, so it's really hard to determine if this particular move affects DOA greatly or not. It's super unsafe, doesn't track, doesn't scale in damage from any particular setup/juggle/combo. It's a hell of a gamble move. You got to have balls to just throw that move out there...when I mean balls...I mean it in a spanish way. "Grande Huevos." "Gigante Bolas."
Which Hayabusa move you mean? perhaps there is disadvantage to it as well.

Aside from nit-picking such as "it doesn't track" or "it's not a true mid" there's literally almost no weakness with the move.
Mid hit-level, lift stun on NH, launch on CH, safe on-block transition, minimal recovery frames on whiff, tracking +on NH low sweep (also FTs), covers insane distance, crushes high, crushes MID, tracking KND high mixup (that no one uses) and places him in position for his gap-closing tools/punishes. I should also mention that you're getting nice damage off of that CH launch, even on super heavyweights, in addition to a KNB that's excellent for environmental pressure.

And I used to use that all the time! I loved it!
Kinda makes me wanna keep hoping for that for Mila as well. If nothing else I can make a custom cg model I guess.
