The Japanese voices don't sound over-inflated at all. In fact, I find them too muted and flat. Back in the old DOA games everyone sounded to vibrant and full of energy. Now they sound old and apathetic. Damn shame.
But still a million times better than the English ones.
In glorious HDLook, everyone!
I went and did an Izuna!
In regards to Japanese vs English - Like somebody stated, it's just when it comes to anime based games, the English VAs are seemingly bad. However, you play a game like Resident Evil or Bioshock, or something along those lines and it's totally different. The English voices are amazing.
They just hire the wrong people for the wrong voices- especially in DOA, and that's all there is to it.
No they're just lazy, look at phase 4
all they did was pop lauren landa up with some testosterone instead of hire a new va

Nyotengu isn't that tall. She's wearing tengu-geta, and Ayane isn't standing up straight.
Woaaah...so jealous, many got her already! >o<' I try, to hold off from looking to close at pictures or clicking on videos of her. I want to experience her all on my own.

Yeah, why do people keep believing she's so tall when she wears the same shoes Banko does?
If we go into this shit again, I will jump into this shit and then Forlorn will be on my ass and it will be the same nonsense that we did 2-3 times already.
Even without her wooden flip flops I imagine she's pretty tall when she's standing straight up.
