Hmm, been a few months since a post. I found one ranked match on PS3 this last weekend. Played a few PSN friends from Gamefaqs a few weeks ago. Not sure if anyone is this region plays the game online (PS3). I remember the local in Oakland a long time ago.

Anyone who is still looking for a way to EVO head-sup. I just got a round trip ticket from SD for $120 via Spirt. Spirt doesn't have much for leg room so paid the extra $15 for up front. Also 1 free personal bag (backpack). Carry on is other fee. If you pack light could be a cheap last min deal. Greyhound is around $50ish but very long ride.

Yeah, the one time I did offline for this game w/people was at the MADE in Oakland. I organized a Skullgirls meetup there last month by getting in contact w/someone there. A few people showed up. That place might be a possibility.
Dustloop has events in San Carlos, but I've never been able to get to that city. Though my main focus is 2-D games, I still try to keep in practice w/DOA. Maybe I can get to someone's place or get some online matches w/people here.

Yeah, they've been doing Smash for quite a while, but I've never played that game.
Pittsburg's accessible by BART, so it's a possibility, thanks. Also, I should send some invites on PSN (I'm still on PS3), though my skill level's probably fairly low compared to most people.

So weeklies are still on Tuesdays at that Breezy location? I've admittedly fallen out of the loop on things, so I want to double check.
Yes, every Tuesday, registration is at 7pm, tournament's start at 9pm.
