@coffeedad Casual start at 8pm on Fridays only. Saturdays, casuals start...whenever actually. So yea, you can drop by around noon or so on Saturday.

Two things...
1. Cali Crush now has a facebook page. Like, if you're so inclined, to help support the tournament and get the latest updates on your facebook stream.
2. SoCal Regionals just posted their tentative game lineup. It's gonna be awesome. I'd be lying though if I said I wasn't disappointed that DOA5LR isn't getting higher billing. It's one of TWO national qualifiers they have. I understand that SCR has always been a Street Fighter/Marvel tourney at it's heart, but it IS a Battle Royal 2015 qualifier. That's basically the EXACT reason why we created Cali Crush in the first place - to have a tournament where DOA can be the headlining event.

Id love to see DOA on top of a west coast major, but untill it can pull 100+ people that is never going to happen.

Registration will be available the first week of April for both registration and spectator passes
Group rate should be available next week for the Atrium hotel by John Wayne Airport
who all is playing on coming this year. Are we going to get 2 rooms again? Also do we wanna try for the Atrium

there are more players that are in the area still that arent too active in the offline scene, but I still play with them sometimes
Also, I should be available for sure this weekend for casuals. I'll be at P-Lay at the usual time i suppose

Bad news. Looks like the venue that was supposed to host SCR has had some delays with construction and will not be able to host the event. Valle will be looking for a new venue to keep the dates of the event the same, but there is no guarantee that it will be held on the target dates. We will have to wait for more news on the situation for now :/
