Well Sarah won against everyone else then because she's like... you know.... OP :). But back to this thread, I love Sarah a lot and if they want to ban Alpha we might as well get rid of the VF characters. Sarah specifically.

Aka just likes hijacking every conversation into a discussion about one of his mains.

Sarah is basically OP in that she makes the rest of the cast look like chumps, but she is not broken in the same sense that people refer to Alpha or Rachel.

People just love to come up with excuses for them losing. Just today I was victim to getting tossed around by Rachel for the entire match but I didn't come here and bitch about it or even send hatemail. I played the guy again and beat him.

That's cause you rarely actually end up at your opponent's side enough in this game that it would be worth implenting side throws. Even when you sidestep, you still only end up at your opponent's 1 o' clock at most. Would be nice to expand the sidestepping to make it more energetic for lack of better word, and thus have a need to add sidethrows after all.

Not related to gameplay but in similiar principle: It's interesting that DOA is the game that started the costume craze, but doesn't have fully fledged customizations yet. But maybe with this whole Sega collab thing going on, perhaps DOA6 will build upon VF5's customization system. Or then again, VF6 should be out by then. So DOA6 could build upon VF6's customizations.

I'll be honest: DOA is the best community I've tried involving myself with. Aside from some, a lot of the people actually contribute useful information. Half the time I was on 8WR, I looked for help using the new characters in SC5, but nobody explained shit. I had to dig up half the crap I wanted to know from Google before I could make heads or tails of what I was given. It wasn't fun. I still respect Jaxel for his work and his streaming, but my respect for the community isn't quite so high.

Dustloop... well, I never took up serious ASW-fighting.

When I came here, though, it was all pretty straightforward. I found what info I wanted, I found people willing to talk about the things I didn't know about, AND (although this was also a slight carry-over from 8WR) I got involved with the (small) offline community in town. I'm really glad to be here, and I'm looking forward to seeing the future of the franchise with these people around me.

I enjoy this community, every other one seems filled to its core with those egomaniacs, trolls, etc. Best example would have to be Test Your Might; it's like an out of control circus there.

Now having said that... Don't you dare tell TN to touch my precious Rachel, 'cause if anyone gets them to nerf her their fate shall be grim.

There are cool people in every community just like there are total pricks in every community (I kind of float between both but I'm trying to work on not being a cynical ass. xD) The Tekken community in my experience has the highest percentage of those pricks, very few interactions I've had with Tekken fanboys have been positive. One of them even came into a lobby I was in playing DOA5, said "Tekken is better," fought once, then left. :/ I'm almost 100% certain it wasn't the first or last time they did that.
