Community Vote Your Favorite Costume Now

You can finally start voting for your favorite costumes in the art contest, but there are a few rules from Team NINJA that you should follow to make sure your vote doesn't get disqualified:

1. You have up to three votes for each part/album:

Album 1 | Album 2 | Album 3

2. You can vote only once for one character. So you can't vote for three Ayane outfits.

3. No bad-mouthing designs. This contest is designed to rep your favorites, so stick to that and leave your negative thoughts to yourself.

4. The deadline is May 6th in your time-zones. That gives you a week to vote.

Have fun, everyone! Be sure to share your favorites in the comment box. Some of my favorites include: Rainbow Alpha, Bass w/ Championship Belt, and the Banana Akira...

 

My costume isn't there, but it is too late now and wasn't going to get more than 10 votes anyway. Cop Busa is similar in purpose to mine, so I voted for that. I hope it gets in.

for real? i can't believe that one got over yours. it's just yet another version of her kimono. i'm tired of the whole sandles thing and want more casual attire for her. something that actually, looks comfortable for her to fight in let alone trying her hardest just to keep balance after doing a kick. ah well, it's not over. and at least it's not that damned bikini. the design is fine but i'm just tired of seeing bikinis.

Is TN seriously going to disqualify likes for badmouthing? Heaven knows it'll be a pain to sort it all out.

 

If this is all going by likes then Rachel wins. No way to compete with 18,000+ likes lol. Im really hoping it not just 1 costume that wins.

I don't want that costume to win either. It looks too similar to her default.

I simply spread the good word. I don't claim credit for your enlightenment.

 

Voted for characters that I feel need the extra costumes (I.E DoA males unless I don't like any of the male submissions in a category) . Also some characters with numerous entrants like Ayane are gonna get screwed over because of the huge vote splitting lol.

- that well drawn white Hayate ninja outfit with black mask and red cape
- that "the dragon" tank top outfit for Jann Lee
- German military officer Hitomi ( no other males in that category that I haven't picked interested me sadly, so I defaulted to Hitomi since I like her over Kasumi or whatever female was in that category)

Group #3
- taekwondo Rig
- white tiger zack
- suspenders Marie Rose (again due to lack of interesting male choices of ones I haven't picked I defaulted to Marie Rose since I like her over the other females in category).

 

Yeah. There's too much vote splitting. It should be 2 votes per character, not via likes on facebook, and each album should be separated by character. Then, have a finals for the "1 winner." The way they have it setup now implies that they won't have 1 winner per character, but instead 1 to 3 winners per page.

Moreover, i think they either don't care about votes or have no intention of enforcing those rules: there is no sane way to enforce them.

 

The worst part about kokoro outfits is that americans continue to see 芸者 as street walkers, not japanese clowns.

 

Well number Three of Tina in Part: 3 is the one I made. If anyone could throw a few votes my way. It would be appreciated... If you like what I made that is.

Still deciding on my other 8 votes, but some tough choices for me:

Only to mess with existing votes and add complication to their voting rules. I don't think they're going to enforce.

 

How so? I see it as a way to give justice to the last minute entries for being placed at the very bottom of the page. My own entry was delayed back then too and I have been telling TN about it 2 days ago yet I was never given a proper explanation.

 

Well, it doesn't really help you as the ones already there suddenly have an advantage. Moving entries around also can create existing votes to suddenly be in violation of the rules, and the list goes on. This is one of the many reasons why it should not have been done on facebook. Moreover, like most things like this, it's going to be more of a popularity contest than design contest. An awesome outfit might not be chosen because the person isn't as good at drawing as someone with a crappy costume. Moreover, anyone who has an entry here is surely telling everyone on facebook to vote for theirs, even if they don't even play DoA.

 

It wouldn't be in violation if they do stick to the rules where you can only vote one entry from one character and not exceed 3 votes per album. Moving late entries is just a way for classification's sake, nothing wrong with that.

There's nothing wrong with sharing it. I only tell a few friends (not even exceeding 10) that I know who are gamers to vote for the entries I did.
