That's fine. Hardly anyone ever uses that move anyway. xD
That's just to set the bar how bad my execution with Busa is. How the hell do you even do 666P anyway? I literally input 666P fast as I can and 66P comes out.

I usually avoid lobbies where there are multiple mics but I decided to give it a try. There was lobby with two guys, and they were pretty bad. Both were pretty vocal and I figured now would be a good time to get over my fear of mics. I beat the first guy without any problems and he was yelling the entire time. Beat the second guy and they were both yelling the entire time. What was fantastic is I couldn't understand a word they were saying because I have the TV volume low and I have stuff playing on youtube In the background. I kept hitting X the split second a fight ended to get to the next one so they couldn't kick me and these guys just kept yelling and yelling and yelling and this went on for about 15 matches. I eventually exited and they did at the same time and I knew I was about to get kicked so I just left myself.

I actually got kicked from the lobby just before joining this mic one too. I really need to keep a tally of every time I get kicked.

666P isn't hard, just practice triple tapping 6 in practice mode, it's similar to the elbow julia/michelle has in tekken if you're familiar.

I'd say it's worth learning, it's safe and gives guaranteed damage on hit.

There are very few times I would opt for 666P over a different move. If I think there's a small chance in hell I'm going to get blocked, I don't want to use something with no follow-ups that's negative, even if it's only -3. Hayabusa suffers enough in the neutral game I don't want to be in that position at all. If I don't think I'll get blocked and want to poke over that distance safely, 33P is a much better option at only 2 more initial frames. If I'm trying to use it as a punish, I'll take the 12 frame throw over it any day.

Not saying it's useless, but it's uses are very few. I've really only seen it utilized well in some very fancy, situational environment combos from Master.

As far as how to do it? I hit 6, then go for a 66 P. My muscle memory isn't good for doing 3 rapid hits, but I find that it's easier to delay after the first 6 than after the second one if you still want the triple-6 P to come out.

I can't wait until you get a hold of this game, man. Even if you are gonna be on xbox, it'll be cool when you have your hands on it.

Well we're moving june 11, so soon after that if all goes well. It'll be good to finally get some real hands on experience. Oh and Brute, I do know someone here with the ps3 version that'll be local.

If you can ever make it online, I'd love to run sets with you any time.

Hope the move goes well, man.

There are 4 mic lobbies at the moment. >> "MICS ONLY" "Join & Get On Mic ::" "no mic no fight" and "Mic only or kick"

What the hell is the point? Why does it matter if you have a mic or not?

Edit- now there are two more. "Mics only" lowercase and "Kpop&Practice(mics)"

Hey, it's not unreasonable. I've certainly partaken in one that lasted...I think, 4 hours. It's pretty fun, actually.

Fought a Kasumi that had a turbo button high kick attack x3 & nothing else, except some lag.
Even weirder is I lost. I was pretty tired & not thinking right. Tried blocking & counterattacking. Some moves to interrupt the kicks, etc. Should've just taken some damage off & ran away for time over & taken a break to drink some water, stretch, etc.

Should've spammed high holds. Were you using Brad? Should've lied on the floor and OH'd her over and over.

Or you could have just put the controller down and do nothing and let his auto-counter do some work. rofl
Nah he said this Kasumi was high kicking KKK. So he actually could've started a round with something faster or a high crush to get a little bit of damage and crouched until the timer ran out.

Played a match against a Hayate last night, they weren't particularly skilled but was on a 7 win streak. I did my Leon thing and pulled out 3-1. Get in queue for the next match and I got a message (below is the series of messages I got from the guy, shot taken from my PS4 so I'll say what I said between each message).

After the first message I said "Shame I play a grappler. Throwing and throw punishing is fun." - Despite the most damage he was dealing was about 60 points at a time while I was dishing out half health combos every match.

2nd."Getting guaranteed damage that cannot be broken or escaped is noobish? If that is the case both of us need to look at how we play our characters." - Did nothing beyond 5 hit combos while I did half health combos+ with half the effort the guy was putting in.

3rd. "Technically two buttons. I didn't do a single T that match. Everything I threw was inescapable. If you stand and guard I will throw, if you hold I will try to throw. Not too many strikes in this game can be punished with a striking combo. If the move is unsafe the best option is to always throw." - Despite this knowledge a lot of players in general choose to strike punish. To break that habit you all should play Bass and learn to throw punish.

Stopped replying after that, Acrylic wanted to play and I had more fun with that.

The only time I was losing was the one match he won and it was only by about 50 health. The guy never throw punished me, finished his strings knowing they were being blocked and giving me the chance to throw punish, would stand there and block for up to five seconds at a time, and Leon is slow. I'm not going to try to strike punish with him at all unless you are -1000000000000000000000000, even then Desert Falcon or 1T is a better option. Shame I didn't save the replay, the match itself wasn't anything special.
