I did random select and got Hitomi that first match so I was mashing a little since I don't know how to use her, beat him 3-0. After he said that I picked Leifang and 3-0'd him again and he ragequit. xD

I'ma double post since it's been a couple days
I went into a Phase 4 learning lobby. I was winning with a loss here and there. I didn't drop a single warp and that was pretty cool. So the person I was facing started corpse beating after they won rounds, I'm assuming due to salt. So I started doing it back. More matches passed with me winning them all and suddenly they switch to their main, Christie. Again I'm guessing due to salt.
So I switched to my main Kasumi and beat them. They switched to Ayane next because those people love picking her thinking they'll get an easy win with online tactics (I see more people try this than do the Alpha thing), so I switched to Leifang. Won 3-0. They switched to Bass for some reason and kept using 1PP, I won again. They switched to Eliot and I won again. Then I just started picking random because I wasn't taking this crap seriously anymore. Lost all of them because I can only use 3 characters and didn't get any one of them, meanwhile they got Alpha several times so I'm assuming their filter is edited.

They were a Christie main and I think they were just picking low tier characters for the hell of it. I really beat up their Bass but it's kinda easy to do that.

I got hatemail... legitimate hatemail. Unfortunately, I don't have a camera to capture this rare hatemail.
The name of the player doesn't matter at this time, but I was accused by this person that having a streak meant so much to me that I had to "spam like a maniac". The irony of this was that I was capitalizing on frame advantage when he was spamming unsafe move after unsafe move, so he was just making the fight all the more easy for me. When it became apparent I was holding my own in the lobby, he then told me to go into training mode, get some new moves and start using other fighters.
Despite this, I replied back with "Good games". He never replied back after that, which is strange. Usually it would make someone like that angrier...

Conversation with a guy that played P4 too after he had beaten me multiple rounds with his Mila. Someone please tell me why he's writing something like this then, I don't get it.

1) There's nothing wrong with playing for flashiness
2) If he had an inkling of a clue wtf he was talking about, he would know that you can't "go for frame [advantage]" with P4 because she doesn't have any. TN didn't give everyone valid tools to open people up, and those characters do have to rely on tick throws, as stupid as that is.
It's not stupid, it's good for some great mind games, and thats why I personally don't consider her to be just for the flashiness.
Inescapable 6 frame tick throws are absolutely stupid.
Btw, I never said there's something wrong with it. People can play how and what they want. The point is, that they often want to tie other down to their playstyle, as you can see.
That comment was in response the guy accusing you of playing only for flashiness. Wasn't an accusation that you yourself were or weren't doing that, or that you personally thought it was or wasn't okay to do so.
