Actually, I could post almost every day in this thread. I hope I don't bother you guys, but I think my latest two things are quite weird, so I won't deprive them to you^^
So yeah ... since I'm the one who is playing Phase as one of the most unsafe characters in the whole game, I actually thought that I'm the one who's kind of kinky and literally likes to be punished, but obviously, that guy either wanted it to be the other way around:
Maybe playing a different character would help me to prevent seeing such weird stuff, since Phase seems not to be one of the generic ones people want to see.
I mean, somehow, it's understandable. Clones are always abnormal, just because they are clones.

Or he meant normal as in "not some teleporting magic ninja clone". That's why I hate them too. I prefer actual combatants, not magical Mary Sueperheroes.
Nah, he wrote every char except the poor clone. He also played Hayabusa and Kasumi who teleport and "every" includes the green jelly girl as well so yeah, uhmmm ... normal can be relative

So I replied: "Yeah, ongyoin can actually be pretty useful in his spacing game, as long as it's applied right. gg"
So then he replies: "Yeah, but you abuse."
"Abuse works."
"I don't like abuse."

"Everyone, quit to lobby. I need to kick."
So he kicks me.

Got in a lobby with someone named LOAphroditeVE. They played a very strange Ayane that consisted of 66KK4 -> throw-bait spams and... well, and nothing, really. Mostly just that. Never quite seen a playstyle like it, so it took me a while to adjust. They won the first match 3-2 and taunted.
So I went through the rotation, fought them again, and beat them 3-0. I made a snarky quip in response to their premature taunt, and they then replied "So childish." I went to get a drink, expecting to come back and fight them again (they were beating everyone else in the lobby before I arrived). But when I got back, they were nowhere to be seen.
I did notice this message in the chatbox, however: "but im ok. sum ppl *** handle losing"

Bump. Why do I have to bump this? Am I seriously the only one still running into weird shit online?
Anyway, so I'm online with my Archghoul account, fighting some laggy Momiji (RAAAGE) who mashes out of everything (and gets away with it, because of lag), but can't seem to figure out that doing a low WU kick on WU every time won't work. So I just start spamming the same set-up to get the match over with, when someone that I know joins the lobby: G0dHadez
For those unaware, I taught him how to use Hayabusa back in vanilla (so naturally I didn't do a great job, but w/e). He eventually branched out and took up his own style, but anyway... he's been on a hiatus for a while and just recently returned (apparently unaware that I am Archghoul). He states in the chatbox "Oh, how the quality of Hayabusa players has fallen..." I'm just like: "lawl" and figured I'd wait and see where this went. I played another match. Some lag. Some dropped combos. Hadez is like: "sigh" So I'm thinkin': Okay, let's see how your Hayabusa is coming along, then.
So he's up next round and picks Hayate and I'm like: alright. Let's go. We fight, 2-3, I win. So I say: "How we've fallen, eh? It's Brute, btw." Then he says he doesn't believe me. He gets up next time and picks Hayabusa. I pick Random and get Leifang. I win. So I do a few more fights before some guy lags it so bad I just return to the lobby to spectate. I then started talking to the other people in the lobby (really nice people, except this one douche named "Veteran_Child" who was hil-lawl-ious). So then Hadez says: "If it's really Brute fight me in a mirror. I'm warmed up now." I said: "I'm kinda not in the mood for Busa mirrors right now. They're really silly," but he said he's not online much so I'm like: "Alright, fine. 1 mirror match."
So he invites me, we play a Busa mirror, 3-0 I win. I'm like: "gg." and then he says: "You can't only do one!" So I agree to do another and win the next fight 3-1. "ggs. catch you next time." and he replies "gg Brute clone"
So... yeah. That was my night.

That depends. My idea of weird is getting compliments from people I think hate my guts.

Should've switched back to your LahsVeo account immediately and then tell him what he just did in that session.
That being said, @GodlyHades, Archghoul really was Brute. I can vouch for that.

I've mostly just been fighting @Yurlungur so there hasn't been much weird stuff other than his connection going from 5 minutes for one character intro to the smoothest connection I've ever experienced. Still don't understand how that works. Other than that when I venture into random lobbies people are just plain rude like that Sarah player that said "no challenge" after fighting me and left because I wasn't worth his time. I can take pretty much any insult without caring but that one really stung for some reason.
There was one night though I went into a lobby and of course the person beating everyone was an Ayane player abusing lag tactics thinking they were hot shit taunting and all that (I've entered lobbies and seen this happen at least 5 times with different Ayane players). So it's my turn to fight him and I pick Kasumi. Seeing I was an F+, he probably thought I'd be terrible and to 'teach me a lesson' in how to use her, he picked her as well. The thought running through my head at that point was "not today you little bitch"
Slaughtered him and corpse beat every single KO. Was even more enjoyable because I could hear him raging on his mic the whole time. There were about 3 other people there and I was as I usually am, very polite to them. Got back to this guy and killed him with Leifang, beating the hell out of him after every KO. Went through the other 3 as I said, polite. Got back to this guy again and picked Ayane to get back at him for picking Kasumi, 3-0'd him again and taunted.
He was the host and I knew I was about to be kicked based on how much he was yelling into his mic so I quit to the lobby and wrote "lol ggs" before leaving.
The Hades part speaks for itself (goes to show you should never smack talk, never know who's sub account you might be playing) but I have run into Veteran_Child a few times before and they were never positive experiences from what I remember
There's not exactly an army of people running around pretending to be me on PSN. If I said I was MASTER or something then sure, I understand why someone might be hesitant to believe it. But the possibility of someone impersonating me is about as likely as someone hacking into my LahsVeo account, at which point that wouldn't be too credible either.
I've never really had "smooth" matches with Yurlungur, but I've had them good enough that they're quite playable as long as you don't try anything absurd like throw punishment. But I have had those laggy ones and DAYUM. I mean I get where he's coming from because COX really screws me over with my connection now, and before that my old school had a horribly inconsistent net as well. But it's really frustrating how inconsistent it is.
Yeah, what a putz. I would hunt them down, slaughter them and upload the replay, but unfortunately I'm not the best at fighting Sarah. So, yeah... fuck...

I bait and hold mids and crush lows and followup with Mount when they are downed.
I get accused of spamming grabs and am either kicked or everyone leaves.
Happened with the hod clan people recently dunno if y'all know any of them.
Oh wait. I joined a lobby with rendering star. Used Marie Rose to troll the hell out of me then immediately kick me after one match....so...yeah.
