I'd like to see a Japanese character with a similar style to Nouhime from the SW series. Seemingly ruthless, seductive, and somewhat crazy. Most of the DOA girls at the moment are fairly tame. I say introduce some more crazy women. Put some diversity in there. We need a psycho girl who is literally there to just watch people squirm.

People think mahvel OHKO combos are easy.

Wow... o_o At least that juggle doesn't look that easy like most tag juggles just about anyone can do. But, seeing that combo makes me want to not play tag even more. lol

About guest in DOA6... if they add any guest characters I'd like someone from Tekken or no guests at all. From Tekken I would like Jin. Just him would be fine. ;)

Guest characters for DOA6? Some of them would have to be stripped down from using projectiles and weapons though but I prefer either of these:

Tekken:
- Anna Williams (Possible interactions - Zack, Christie)
- Miguel Caballero Rojo (Possible interaction - Rig, Leon)

Street Fighter:
- Poison (Possible interactions - Ein, Mila)
- Cody Travers (Possible interaction - Brad, Tina)

Care to explain the interactions? Seem kinda random.

Anna's role:
• Anna was playing billiards with Christie and accidentally hit Zack on the groin with a cue stick who was about to approach the two women. Anna teamed up with Christie against Zack on a 2-vs-1 fight.

Miguel's role:
• Rig ridiculed Miguel for his matador outfit and caused a ruckus to the bar. Leon barged in and Miguel wants to see how strong "The Strongest Man in the World" is and challenged Leon to see if his fists matches Leon's strength.

Poison's role:
• Poison was scouting for fighters and spotted Mila at the gym. Poison tested her abilities then offered Mila a contract. Mila brought Poison to the diner where she works to offer an on-the-house lunch as gratitude. Poison then saw Ein (a Hayate clone that Lisa secretly kept within MIST and released to enter the tournament) walked by and flirted with him. Poison sees potential in him and wants to recruit him but disintegrated after their match.

Cody's role:
• Cody was simply having drinks with Brad and Tina walks in the bar to order a Cosmopolitan. Cody thought Tina was his ex-girlfriend Jessica. Tina thought he was deranged and challenged the ex-convict.

....yeah, okay lol. I'm neither for nor against those relations. They make sense the way you explained it though.

Now I'm picturing Hugo dressed up as Bass.

40 or more characters. I know the game is about balance but the selection is a bit lacking.

More females (30 or more out of the 40). More sexy costumes, more of what makes the game fun. Basically, the women should outnumber the men by no less than 3:1.

DLC should be unlockable or available for no more than $20 total. I like the content but there is no reason to spend over $100 on DLC for a $40 game.

Keep: Marie Rose, Hayabusa, all the girls, Gen Fu
Dump: Brad Wong (or make him REALLY Chinese), Jacky, Rig

Make Zack less of a joke, have more girls from all over the world -- Lisa is the only dark-skinned girl we have? Really?

A 20-second "Sudden Death" round in the event of a 2-2 tie. Eventually SOMEONE is going to need it.

How is this related to your first post?

Uh, "Sexism" in fighting games is pretty commonplace... Matter of fact, most people go online and play games to keep away from all the PC monikers, such as "racist", "phobe", "sexist" and all the other moronic names that most boring people use with reckless abandon.

All you have to do to confirm that is look at Ivy from SC5.

Since it kinda goes with the territory, pointing it out is at the very best redundant and at the very worst quite insulting. Right now I'm leaning towards the worst, especially since I fail to see how it could be sexist asking for more strong independent women that could kick anyone's butt?

Even if you subtract Pai and Sarah from the list in the next game. There are still plenty of them.

Take them out and you're left with only 13 women and 14 men. Now to be fair, you *might* be able to get rid of Jacky and Akira too which would reduce the ratio to 13:12 if you count Alpha-152, which most people choose not to. Alpha-152 has only 4 "outfits", so it's easy to unlock all of her stuff in a hurry. 52% just doesn't cut it.

... I don't think you got my point.

Why must there be a need for 15 extra females? The game itself has already outnumbered the guys with more than 15 females already even if you'll take away the VF cast by DOA6.

More than 15? Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate has currently only 15 including Sarah and Pai, take them out and you are left with only 13. If you don't believe me, fire it up and check it out for yourself.

Also note that there are 14 men in the game, and theoretically you can take out Jacky and Akira, but that still leaves 12 guys to play as. The ratio is only 52% at the present time. Now you might make a case for Marie Rose and said unnamed female, however, if you do that, you have to wait for the console to get the characters. If you count the two characters, your ratio becomes 17:14, or 54.8%. Hardly worthy of the level of reputation the game has. The most you can make a case for is 15:12 if you exclude the VF characters, leaving the ratio at only a slightly more impressive 55.56%.

Your counting skills need work, amigo.

I also take issue with the word "need" as anyone knows you don't even "need" to play a fighting game at all. The world of entertainment is not one that needs anything. You don't "need" a 50" TV to play a game, but it's certainly nice to have. I bet if I came on here and asked for more dudes, like the completely unfair 19-10 ratio (not counting bosses) in a game like Tekken Revolution, you wouldn't say that. So yeah, I think that's B.S. that you brought that point up.

I'd be okay with more females, so long as

a) they arent ninjas.
b) they arent just more Ninja Gaiden imports

i'll be honest, I don't differentiate genders in videogames, its just a matter of "are they cool?".

I consider Marie and new female so it's technically 17 (VFs still included).

But honestly, 15 more females added altogether on the next game isn't really reasonable.

Wait, what? where does sexism come into this? I don't think the desire to have more females is really a sexist thing. Most other games actually have more male characters than female, but I don't see people calling those games sexist.... or at least I wouldn't...

edit; on a side note... 15 females added in 1 game isn't even something that will ever happen. With each new game we usually get the addition of max 5... ( usually 2 girls 3 guys or vice versa. )

Yeah sure but I prefer leveled like it is now. Not overlap a big gap difference.

Honestly, the game's female characters are pretty well recognized even if they only were few back then. Other fighting games on the other hand, may not have a big female roster but very well recognized on its own and has the same level of recognition with their male roster.

DOA's case on the other hand felt like the guys got degraded next to nothing in recognition...
