I've thought about this before but I stumbled on some youtube videos that made me decide to do the poll.

A lot of DOA characters have made me laugh before, both during cutscenes and/or during gameplay... but I've decided for me it's:

1. Hitomi - It started ever since all her scenes in DOA4 (cabbage, dinosaur, ending), but now just seeing her anywhere makes me laugh
2. Brad Wong - never been a fan of the whole 'drunk is funny' angle but he has undeniably made me laugh a lot
3. Zack - probably the most obvious choice, him and Bass were probably the first most intentional comedians in the series since DOA2, if not DOA1

others that have made me laugh: Bass, Tina, Mila, Kokoro, Nyotengu, even Jan Lee, Christie, Leon, and Bayman

Picking Zack and Marie Rose would be considered cheating, so I'm going with Ayane, Bass, and Kokoro.

Ayane - Moreso for the retconned story scenes with Eliot and Gen Fu, the helicopter scene with Zack in DOA5, and two particular scenes in DOA6.

Bass - Far too many to mention, but none more inspired than his awfully-disguised alter-ego Mr. Strong , which is a direct parody of the late Hulk Hogan as Mr. America.

Kokoro - I get it, she has her fans. But seeing as she's slow to react normally to city disasters, can't take a hint when someone is passing her a weapon, and it took her 3 FUCKING SEQUELS to get a clue that Helena was her sister, I can't help but suspend my disbelief regarding her cognitive skills, or lack thereof.

Honorable mentions:

Eliot/Brad Wong: If Asuka and Lili are the Kenan and Kel of fighting games, then Eliot and Brad Wong are Larry and Balki. Their moments in DOA5 are brilliantly executed to comedic effect.

Nyotengu: While she didn't have a more impactful role in DOA6, she makes up for it by trolling a quarter of the cast as a social experiment. But hitting it off with Brad Wong was not on my bingo card...

Cheating for me would be taking DOAXVV content into consideration, lol. Kokoro in that really makes me laugh with her [wide-eyed leaning-in staring] idle pose. I used to think she was kinda boring/dull and just nothing else beyond adorable with a funny fanmade nickname (Kokopuffs... and I think I vaguely remember some also called her "melonhead" back on doaworld for some reason), but I guess the moment with Jan Lee wasn't a one-off and she was meant to be somewhat odd, maybe even kinda "pon" in an endearing and comedic way.
