Microsoft is sticking by its guns.

Here are the key take aways.
Ok so heres why Xbox One is destined to fail.
I, currently, work in the apartment industry. Out of the 288 units on my property I can say that 70% of the people here have a current generation console. Out of those 70%. . .less than 20% have broadband internet access in their homes. Most of them use their smart phones for web browsing now (Which, I'd wager, is mostly centered around Facebook, Twitter, ESPN and what have you.)
The Xbox One is going to fail - people in lower income situations cannot afford broadband and most that I talk to don't even care to have it!
Shit, if it wasn't for Xbox Live I probably wouldn't even have broadband and if I ever chose to not have live anymore then I'll still be able to play the system - out goes the modem, in goes an extra $75 a month and the next stop is the new game section at walmart.
But with an Xbox One this isn't an option? Ok, well I'll stick with the 360 and buy a PS4.
And if Sony tries to pull the same thing then fuck it all - I'm not even a big gamer anymore.

Here are the key take aways.
- The system will have to check the games once every 24 hours - if it doesn't get that check in on your home console you're relegated to DVD's and BluRays.
- They still haven't fully explained how trade- ins will work, except to say that developers will have control over what can and can't be resold.
- Kinect is only listening for the phrase "Xbox On". Its not a spy camera sitting in your living room.
