Dragon Kick

"Dragon kick your ass into the milkyway"
+10 internet points for those who know what thats from, lol.
From the credits of God Hand. That is a awesome game.

I thought Dragon Kick was proven to be in the game already. I swear I seen it as the main picture on Team Ninjas facebook page, so it is in. Like others have said it is a slow start up move that is easy to evade and punish. So it's not that great. I do like the move and use it some times. Just have to be real careful and pick your spots. On counter hit the damage is real nice.

I personally don't think this kick should even return. It's extremely overpowered, and unfair because you can't block it or hold it. The only true way to evade it is ducking.

Believe me many moves are more "op" and unfair"... and a good jann lee player will only use it to show off.A little bit of training will help you, this is a part of the mindgame too to read your opponent.I rarely get hit by this move .

And if i can't dragon kick noob from their back after they tried and failed to dragon kick me ,i'd be upset.

Ho and who never laughed after holding the dragon kick with the cliff behind his back?

Hell you could get hit by the damn thing, tech roll, and hit him before he recovers from his stupid little animation he does after the kick lol.
lol I remember once Ryujin and myself had a dragon kick match to see who could tech roll and punish the taunt after the most

  • 25 frame start-up
  • 53 frame recovery on miss
  • 85 frame recovery on hit
  • extremely linear
  • easy to crush
  • easy to duck on reaction
  • hold puts you to Jann Lee's side or back (depending on game)
Not to mention, with DOA5's upgraded stepping you'll be able to free-step and sidestep this on reaction every time to boot. This is your idea of "over-powered?"

I don't see a problem with his Dragon Kick. I'd say it sucks, really. I find it very easy to avoid and punish in DOA4.

Here in Florida, a new video game ($59.99) plus tax comes out $64.19. I'll be spending $79.99 plus tax on my copy though ;) .

Everyone saying that its basically a useless move has no idea what they're talking about. It can indeed be very useful against whiffs and spacing mistakes just due to the extreme distance the move covers. Especially if you factor in wall and environmental damage. With that said its nowhere near OP for the reasons people have already stated. And as the skill of your opponent increases the amount of situations you can use it decreases.

Why are you complaining about Lee dragon kick? Shouldn't you worry about Kasumi more? after all they made her an even bigger OP Bee-otch.

P.S. Btw are you allow to type profanity? Or uncensored words? Not to insult people or anything, just wondering.
